The main floor of this custom built log home includes 1 bedroom with a double size bed, a bathroom, full eat-in kitchen, a utility area with a washer and dryer and living room with a wood burning stove and satellite TV. Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with 2 twin size beds, and a bathroom. There is a large porch overlooking the Nine Mile Creek. The home sits on a secluded 23 acres, with one side of the property bordering National Forest and one side bordering the Nine Mile Creek. The views are breathtaking. The log home provides an excellent vacation retreat for seasonal golfing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing. Walk out the door and within 100 feet you can be fishing in the Nine Mile Creek and other world famous Montana trout fishing rivers are all within an hour’s drive. Missoula, with its many fine restaurants and shops is only 40 minutes away by car. Missoula is served by an airport with multiple flights by major airlines each day as well as several car rental agencies.

This place was perfect for our long driving trip out west! Perfect location for exploring Montana. Everything was clean and very comfortable! We took our Starlink mini with us to have internet for a few hours each day, but liked that we could unplug! Caught fish in the nine mile! Sad we didn't see any wildlife out there except a few elk. Make sure you have mosquito spray! Owners were very nice and quick to talk to. Caution if your vehicle is low riding, this is a gravel road at best and would be difficult if rainy, and our van scraped when pulling up to house in the driveway bc the middle hump was high from the worn down tracks. Perfect set up for 5-6 people with plenty of room! Loved that this cabin was at the end of the dead end way out in the woods. Having no Air conditioning could be a problem if there when it is really hot, weather was perfect for us so we had no issues and cracked windows at night. Plenty of towels and things available! Would definitely consider this place again if ever visiting Missoula.

The property was very nicely furnished with tasteful decoration. We definitely would rebook if in that area again. No fault to property owner but the location in the mountains, we did not have cell service. We did fine without cell phone. They did have a land line but we tried not to use, not knowing what charges to expect. We definitely would recommend to others.

This place is very beautiful and very clean. If you’re wanting a remote camp trip this is for you. BUT you should be aware of a few things before booking. This place is 100000% remote, no service and no WiFi. This would have been fine (if we had known) but we were planing to work and could not due to the no WiFi. Also you need to bring a truck. The road up to the door destroyed the under side of my car because the ruts are so deep on either side . Getting there was very hard. It took us 45 min longer because the pin does not work. Follow the step by step directions the owners give not the pin in the listing. Also there are no blinds so be ready for an early wake up call with the sun. We made it work. And it was a good experience, just a lot of little things that added up to a lot of frustration because we were not prepared for any of it.
