About this farm stay rental
Beautiful semi-detached rural farmhouse (longiere) with stunning views, situated in tranquil, forrest location. Sunny, sheltered terrace, overlooking a valley and forest.
You have nature on your doorstep with 4 hectares of private forest with trials that leads to a small river and a large forest, connected to the beautiful Gatine bocage area, which wildlife includes owls, deer, foxes, wild boar. When in full flow the river has trout and on rare occasions you may even spot otters.
Situated in the picturesque bocage, 4km from the nearest village, Fenioux with a boulangerie. The large town of Niort is within 25 km range with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a very large local foodmarket.
The coast, La Rochelle and ill de Rey is just over 1 hour’s drive and the medieval town Parthernay less than 1 hour. This place suits Nature Lovers, Nature trails, walking and mountain bike routes and fishing in the area. For families with children you are half an hour's drive from a large Bathing Lake. Pony riding at nearby villages, zoo and if you like aquariums, La Rochelle is very impressive. For small kids there are swings, a splaspool, sandtoys and sand pit available.
The house has a new fitted kitchen and a large living-dining room, both with doors leading directly to the terrace with weber bbq and garden. Large family bathroom with twin basin, bathtub, shower and bidet. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, each a a double bed and a single bed, and a baby cot in one room. The living room couch can also change to a sleeper if required.
Special introductory price offer as this is our first season of renting out, so there are still a few small bits that needs finishing.

Am Ende der Strasse liegt im Nirgendwo dieses urige kleine Haus. Es ist unglaublich ruhig und man kann die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief toll und er war sehr hilfsbereit und offen für alle möglichen Anliegen.
