About this cottage rental
Vacation on our 600 acre horse and cattle farm and stay in our Pond House, on the shore of one of the most beautiful ponds you can imagine. Children and adults enjoy fishing, hiking the woodland trails, watching the constant activities of nature around the pond, watching the horses and cattle, and horseback riding with our neighbors at Oakland Heights.
During hot weather, enjoy the free swimming hole in our creek. Reserve a time (90 minutes) at our Party Patio to enjoy its Hot Tub, corn hole and other games, and its additional firepit. Bring your bathing suits.
The Pond House has two bedrooms (one queen, one bunk bed with double bed on bottom), plus a den with queen-sized pull-out couch. It is professionally decorated and altogether charming.
The best feature, however, is the screened back deck overlooking the gorgeous pond.

As always, the Pond House has been one of our favorite places to visit over the last several years. It is cozy, clean and calming. We look forward to it every time.

Our family (two adults and 5 kids, ages 6-11) absolutely loved our stay at The Wolftrap Farm and The Pond House. Beautiful green, horse pastures surround the home. My kids loved naming the horses and visiting them while we were there. In the back of the house is a beautiful, large, fishing pond. My kids caught 4 Bass and a few other fish! One of fish we were even able to eat! There is a covered porch that faces the pond and we were able to safely let our kids wander our the fenced horse pastures and fish from early in the morning until late at night. The porch also has the perfect table for playing board games! Our kids said it was their favorite vacation ever! Coming from the D.C. area, it definitely was a serene slice of heaven for my husband and me. The house was very clean! The property manager was also very prompt when responding to any of my questions. P.S. If you need any fishing gear or bait, Steve at Hellems & Sons was so helpful and had a variety of fishing gear in stock!
