Located on Perdido Key in Orange Beach, AL, WindDrift is a place to come relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful views of Orange Beach. This really is the best of both worlds. Our condo is newly remodeled and updated. Kitchen and bathrooms remodeled in late 2024. Enjoy beautiful unblocked views of Ono Island and watch the dolphins play from the large balcony overlooking Ole River. It truly is the perfect get-away for the whole family. This beautiful condo is a 3 bedroom/2 bath end unit with plenty of room for your family and friends on the 4th floor for great views. Unit 411 N. The exterior, common areas and walkways of our building have been restored with new coatings, stucco and paint.
This condo has an electronic keyless entry so you never have to worry about where the keys are. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs. New Kitchen appliances. 75" TV, couch and chair in Living Room. The master bedroom is spacious with new furniture, new flat screen TV and new linens including a comfortable king size bed and master bath. Wake up in the morning and enjoy your cup of coffee on the private master balcony. The 2nd bedroom has new furniture with a queen size bed, new mattress, new linens, new flat screen TV and views of the beach and Perdido Pass. The 3rd bedroom has new furniture with two queen beds, new mattresses, new linens, new flat screen TV and great views of Ole River and Ono Island. The remodeled 2nd bath is located between the two bedrooms. High Speed Wireless Internet and Dish Network. Both the beach and boating require lots of ice and our condo's wet bar has a 25#/day ice maker in addition to the refrigerator's ice maker. Fill your coolers and head for the beach/boat. We're boater friendly.
Bring your boat and park it in one of the many brand new boat slips offered to guests just steps from our condo. You can also use our own private boat ramp launch on the property. 12 rental slips are available for your boat and you can park your trailer in the gated boat parking area.
All rentals for boat yard must be booked in advance through the Waves Management Office in Gulf Shores 251-943-7410. 12 rental boat slips are available per day. Boat Slip/Yard rentals must be booked in advance at the time of your condo booking. Cost is $50 per day or $300 a week with a $50 administrative fee all paid to Waves Management. (No Refunds!) Renters must complete a liability waver, submit current boat registration and current boat insurance and must be received by Waves Management with full payment a minimum of 7 days in advance of your stay.
We are only a 5 minute boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico for world class fishing or stay close in the bay for unmatched inshore fishing. Boat slips are located in a NO WAKE zone which helps protect your boat while in the water. Boat slips also have a fish cleaning station with electricity and fresh water. Take your boat over to Bird Island to enjoy swimming and fun in the sun or take it to dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants in Orange Beach or Perdido Key, FL.
Bring your rods and reels and enjoy catching redfish, speckled trout, flounder, skipjacks and crabs off our brand new marina docks or our private beach. Stroll over to the private beach located directly across the street and enjoy the sugar white sands and turquoise blue water. Wind Drift has two complexes on the beachside and one on Ole River with access to all amenities. We have a private crossing with a stop light activated by you to cross the road. There are 2 swimming pools (one Gulf-front and one on the Riverside). Beach access also includes outdoor showers to remove all the sand and saltwater before heading back to our condo. The complex also has a brand new tennis and pickle ball court for renters use. Court is lighted for night time use as well. There are pickle ball rackets and balls to use at the court.
The condo association charges renters $62 for a parking pass that is good for up to 7 days. Maximum of 2 parking passes. Parking fees are paid directly to Waves Management Online, 7 days prior to arrival and are not paid to VRBO.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The set up of bedrooms/beds was perfect for our family, and the location was great, across the street from the beach and a short drive to anywhere in Orange Beach, Perdido Key, or Gulf Shores. Beds were comfortable and linens etc clean and up to date, plenty of towels, and overall the condo was very clean. The condo was updated throughout and kitchen open and well stocked. Only recommendation would be adding some measuring cups/spoons in the kitchen, were the type that enjoy cooking a lot at home! Tons of appliances, pots/pans, and a good stock of basics. We loved staying on the back balcony and watching the sunrises and sunsets, they were stunning. We saw dolphins in the bay right after we arrived. You could also see fish, stingrays, and jellyfish from the balcony daily. The host was so fast in communicating, quickly answered any questions we had, and we greatly appreciated them allowing us to check in a bit early. It was nice being able to use both pools and at no time was anything crowded. Overall, loved our stay there and will rebook this in a heartbeat.

It was a wonderful condo, owner was responsive and gracious when I called with a couple of questions. Only thing that could be better was the parking pass situation, you can only do 7 days at a time and if you're staying more than that you have to reapply for another pass and there is another charge.

Very clean and smelled good but it wasn’t wheelchair accessible like we were told. I could access one bedroom not with my chair though, I had to be lifted from my chair and taken with my hoyer lift to that bedroom, and the living room but not the other 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen or balcony. Even getting into the condo wasn’t easy because there was a wall very near the left of the door and 2 doors opposite the door going into the condo, one padlocked door and one being stairs I had to get lined up just right to get in the door. The main bedroom had a small hall leading to it that a wheelchair couldn’t turn into, the other bedroom, the bed was too close to the wall to get the wheelchair into, kitchen wasn’t enough room between the island and the wall to go into. The balcony had a beautiful view, but there is a 3 1/2”-4” lip that a wheelchair can’t go over.

We really did enjoy our stay and the location was great. The listing indicated that it was a remodeled condo, it may have been renovated some years back, but not a big deal. There are some items that are in need of repair we couldn’t lock the balcony door, the refrigerator something up with the door some other minor repairs that we expected a little bit different but all in all it was a great experience. I think for the money for us next time we stay we would stay in a newer modern unit
