About this house rental
Feel at home in this cozy, charming and spacious two-story mountain chalet. Tastefully furnished and well maintained to create a relaxing and carefree ambiance for our guests. You'll want to make this home your vacation home-away-from-home every season.
With all the amenities of home, this three bedroom, two bath home is designed for comfort, relaxation and fun.
This corner home sits on a large parcel nestled among giant pine trees providing much privacy. The home has a front deck with table and chairs as well as a large open yard with a rustic wooden swing and table, benches, and chairs suitable for outdoor entertaining. It accommodates parking for two cars in the winter and up to three vehicles (or two vehicles and one boat) during the dry months. NO parking is allowed in the yard, as it will be towed away.
The National Forest is 100 yards from the house; which is centrally located, yet quiet and within walking distance to the lake and public swimming beach and State Park, restaurants, shops, post office and grocery stores in a friendly and informal town. The cabin is only five blocks to the public boat launch.
All major ski areas are located within a 20 mile radius. The gambling casinos at Crystal Bay are only two miles away. The large casinos and Show Extravaganzas at the South Shore Lake Tahoe area are about 45 minutes away. The Reno, Nevada International Airport is a direct route to North Lake Tahoe about 40 miles away. There are numerous historical and interesting points of interest, all within a short driving distance.

The inside was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The exterior is in bad need of a paint job and doesn’t look like the VRBO picture. The WiFi was not reliable. The host was very responsive when notified of the problem. The microwave was finicky. No matter how we tried to disable the child safety lock, the microwave would still not work. On the whole, our stay was very enjoyable

We really enjoyed staying at this Kings Beach chalet. It was evident that our host took great pride and care preparing the place for our stay. Everything was super clean and well equipped with towels, soaps, lotions, kitchen supplies, bedding, pillows,etc. My only suggestions for improvements are minor, but include that it would be nice to get a quality kitchen faucet, and make sure the mini blinds are dusted. We thoroughly enjoyed this chalet and the neighborhood and its closeness ti the beach. Highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay in Kings Beach for a visit to Lake Tahoe and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend here. Nice back yard and front deck for relaxing if you have time. Neighbors across are nice too

Did not realize master bedroom was upstairs so we had to sleep in separate bedrooms since I could not climb those stairs.
