Beautiful old building, very tidy and great location.

Interior of rooms is very minimalistic which is great as it's clean, it could be softened a little to be in keeping with the romantic exterior of the building with a cushions and a few softer furnishings but I'd always go back here as you know what you're going to get and the communal breakfast areas carry a bit more personality and pizazz!

Access and check in was easy. Parking is off road and plenty of it. Location was good, 10 minute walk in to town. Comfortable beds. Aircon worked well in very high temperatures.

Very noisy floors. Understandable given the age of the property, however could be improved. The shower in the wet room would flood the whole floor, so the wet mop must be used whilst showering. Room smelt a bit stale.

The room felt newly updated and was very clean. It was also amply sized and had a nice view of the beautiful architecture down the street. I think it could use a little decor as it felt a bit soulless, but that's just a personal opinion.

The only issue I really had with my stay was the terrible communication. I was only there as a stopover on my way to Paris and inquired about possibly changing my check-in time so I could tour the city center in the afternoon. I waited until the third day of no response before finally contacting Customer Service to prompt them to reply. And I never received a response at all when asking whether there was a place to store my luggage when early check-in was denied. Being a Sunday, no one was on property and no one answered the phone when I called following arrival, so I just hauled my luggage around for a couple of hours trying to see what I could see and then sat in their living room waiting the additional hour until I could access my room. Less than ideal. But I will say that the woman on duty Monday morning at check-out was absolutely delightful!!
