In addition there is a beautiful outside deck of 1,500 sq. feet, a fire pit, Jacuzzi and outdoor barbecue, plus gorgeous lawns, butterfly gardens, and hiking trails and private relaxation spots right on the property that feature gorgeous views, and peaceful tranquility. Perfect for large families, large groups, or multiple families as the home provides large bedrooms with lots of privacy. Updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, over 3,600 sq. ft of interior living space, Palomar Vista Lodge will come to be your luxurious mountain getaway with friends and family for years to come. We are only 2 miles from the entrance of Palomar Mountain State Park, and 3 miles from the Palomar Observatory. In addition, we have 5 casinos within 20 miles if you want to enjoy some great entertainment, a great value meal, and take your chances at the tables or slot machines. Serving San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties, we are about an hour to an hour and a half from all points in Southern California, but you will feel like you are in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We absolutely love this property! This was our second year coming here and our group can't wait to return next year. The house is very comfortable, clean and fits our whole group, but the real magic of this place is the property. The view, the oaks, and the calming energy of this place are unreal. So many great spots to connect with nature. Well stocked kitchen and generous check in and check out, which isa huge part of why we will be coming back here. Michael is a great host, communicate, and has created such a wonderful experience here! Thank you!

The house and surroundings are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. However, a few items need to be corrected for the safety and comfort of future guests. There were substantial mouse droppings in the upper left cabinet over the stove. In fact, we had a furry visitor running through the living room during our last morning. The stair rail from the lower level was unsafe and one of our ladies almost fell. And some of the outlets in the bunk room were not working.

Beautiful home and property at the top of Palomar Mountain. Quiet yet full of nature. The frogs and birds were a special treat. I would absolutely stay here again.
