There were 3 couples that stayed. Everyone said the beds were good but pillows were a bit flat. We never felt like we were on top of each other as the house was large enough. This house had everything we needed.The outdoor space was wonderful. We really enjoyed the walkability to the center of the small town. Close to everything we wanted to do.

Great place to chill, walk, read, cook, watch tv and enjoy the lovely back yard and patio! We had a couple friends from McMinnville visit for lunch. Huge place with three large bedrooms. Comfy beds. I had Fred Meyer deliver groceries.

We are a group of 5 cousins that travel together every year so we stay in a lot of VRBO homes. This one was one of the best appointed homes we have ever stayed. I did not feel like a hotel or rental house, it felt like we were visiting family and staying in there home. We loved it! Location was amazing for visiting the wineries, coast and surrounding areas. Highly recommend the house if you are in the area.

What a great property, and a great location. Easy access from the "major" roadways in Carlton. Great home with a great layout for 3 couples. Amenities are top-notch in this home. Plus a fabulous back yard oasis to get away, have a cup of coffee in the morning, or chill with a glass of wine in the evening. The home is walkable to several great restaurants, coffeehouses, ice cream shops, and tasting rooms. Highly recommended!!

This is an absolutely perfect house for a week in wine country. We had 5 adults and were so comfortable. There was plenty of room to relax downstairs and talk about our plans for the day. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. There is a fenced in backyard with a table for dining or relaxing. We did not travel with children but there was plenty of space for them to play in the backyard. There were also games provided for children and adults. We were thrilled with the walk ability of Carlton. We found wonderful restaurants that we were able to walk to with no problem. We made reservations in nearby towns for dinner ahead of time but cancelled most of them and enjoyed the restaurants in Carlton instead. We would love to return to this lovely home and highly recommended.

We were in town for wine tasting. We had a driver take us to the wineries, but the house was in such a great location we could walk to breakfast and dinner each day! Highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for our group which was 3 couples all gathered for a family wedding in town. The rooms are spacious and comfortably appointed. The kitchen is well appointed, but there was food left behind in the fridge- like an open half gallon of milk and an opened packet of lunch meat. Not the end of the world and likely from previous guests who just didn’t clear out the fridge. Otherwise, this property was great and we’d definitely stay there again! Thanks for hosting us!

We had a lovely four night stay in this adorable and cozy home. The flowers were blooming in the backyard and the kids loved playing in the backyard. There was plenty of space for everyone and we loved being in such short walking distance to downtown Carlton. Daily trips to the Carlton Bakery and getting pizza and ice cream from Park and Main were highlights!!

We had a wonderful stay in Carlton! The house was clean and beautiful! We had 6 adults in our party and the house fit us perfectly. Janell did not miss any details! It was like we never left home! This was a very well-stocked house! The wine and gift basket was a wonderful touch! I would highly recommend staying here. And if we ever make it back to this area, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was the perfect home base for three couples’ 4-day wine tasting excursion. The kitchen dining room and living rooms were comfortables for time spent together while the equally large bedrooms, each with a full bath, allowed for privacy for each couple. The home is nicely decorated with many creative and thoughtful touches. It is very clean, has a lovely garden and is well located.

This house is the perfect spot for a getaway. We had six adults stay over the weekend and we had plenty of space to relax and have fun without ever being cramped. The living space inside provided comfy roomy space to play cards, and the outdoor living space was the perfect spot to relax after a day of wine tasting. There are SO many great places within walking distance, and despite being really close to town there was minimal noise. The house was fully stocked with anything you might need plus so much more. You can tell the owner / host take pride in this home and it's absolutely a gem. We can't wait to visit again!

We had a great weekend visit in Carlton! The house was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds, including the pullout couch. Lots of wine tasting rooms and several good restaurants are all within 2-4 blocks from the house, and the backyard is a great place to hangout with family/friends after an afternoon of wine tasting and a very good meal at several restaurants. Our favorite was Barrel47. It isn’t as fancy as some of the other options, but good service and a variety options at decent prices for excellent food.

This was our home for an annual wine tasting vacation. The location, just 2 blocks from Main Street, is fantastic for access to restaurants, winetasting, and the bakery was very convenient. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. And the basket full of dog toys was a special point of excitement for our dog!

Perfect location for visiting wineries where we bought wine and paired food which we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen each evening. Bad support from VRBO!! We had A veey dirty tub in the master suite upstairs And a ground fault problem in the kitchen.. I sent messages to VRBO twice and never heard a word. That is unacceptable! The house was not only beautiful, cozy and inviting, but very warm and welcoming. We had no idea it would be like an owner walked out in time to let us in. The kitchen had everything you need, spices, detergent, etc! And, a bottle of wine was awaiting us on the counter. 3 couples fit perfectly and a fourth would have been fine if needed. The outside was like sitting in an English Garden. Downtown Carlton was 2 blocks away. Stop at a Safeway on your way in for some starter items, but you’ll have everything else right at 410. Ps- meant to sign the guest book… but I’m certain we’ll be back.

Perfect house for three couples, perfect location! The best VRBO home we ever rented. The house was clean, good layout, kitchen well equipped, ample towels, linens, shower supplies, etc. Short drive to McMinville, Dundee and Newburg. Dinner restaurants closed Tuesday, Wednesday.
