Beachfront Paradise One Bedroom Poolside Condo with Spectacular View

The condo is amazing. The view is amazing. The place was perfect and exactly what we needed to watch the whales and snorkel for 5 days. No surprises or issues.

Absolutely beautiful property. The views are spectacular, the grounds are so pretty and well kept. The condo is well stocked with everything you would need, comfy beds, cute decor, very clean. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond. Location is halfway between San Jose and Los Cabos (marina area). Shopping close by. We did rent a car and also used uber. Great spot.

We stayed here recently with my husband and our two littles, ages 4 and 2. The condo itself was great, well maintained, well stocked, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and the office manager was very helpful. Everything about the place was very nice and the beach access was hard to beat. It's not a swimmer's beach, but it's nice to lay out and whale watch. However, I will say that the listing for this property says "children welcome" which is very inaccurate. While the owner might be happy to have children in her condo, the property residents are NOT. And no where in this listing does it say all the rules of the pool, which very much discourages children. If I had known all the rules of the complex I would have stayed elsewhere to allow my kids to have fun. I had several older women (who laid out for 10+ hours a day by the pool which got almost zero usage) practically yell at my 4 year old for dipping his legs in the hot tub. They glared every time my kids made normal children noises, like yelling or squealing or laughing loudly. One lady told me it was a danger to my child's health to be in the hot tub (to which my husband, an ER nurse, laughed as we watched her lay out all day every day, drinking, getting no exercise--and she needed it, and putting herself at risk for melanoma with her gaggle of friends who did the same). The pool rules here were ridiculous. No children in diapers (not even swim diapers), no kids under 12 in the hot tub (though there are no warnings about cardiovascular risks or blood pressure medications-- which would easily have excluded half the people who used it), no loud noises, no horseplay, no playing on the grass, and no using the pool before 8 am (which was violated by at least 4 old people every single morning). We were the youngest people there by at least 30 years and we have never felt so looked down on and condescended on. It made us really resent the older people here. So if you are young, have a family, want to do more than lay out all day long, this property is not for you. If you are older, have no children in tow, and don't mind a property that is super quiet, this will fit the bill perfectly. I am rating this 3 stars because the facility itself was great, the owner provided a lot of information beforehand (except the extensive list of rules) and the location is nice, but I'm afraid the listing is very inaccurate for young families like mine.
