Apple Blossom is near the new Asheville Outlets Mall that opened on May 1, 2015. The new mall has 75+ outlet stores and is about 10 miles from Apple Blossom!

One day trips can be made to Cherokee, Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Sliding Rock, Mt. Mitchell, Cradle of Forestry, Smoky Mountain Railway, Gatlinburg, or the Great Smoky Mountain Park.

Apple Blossom was built in 2003. It has paved parking and is located on 8.7 acres with a great view of the mountains.

We stayed here for 3 months and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for access to hiking trails but still close enough to the city. There's beautiful sunrises from the front porch and lots of birds. Liz and Will are great at communication and the house is well stocked with anything and everything you could need during your stay

Generally quiet place with a moderately firm queen-sized bed. I did not use the other bed or bathroom. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Owner, Liz friendly and helpful. Interesting area, somewhat rural but close by getting to Asheville. The back drive down Mt. Piscah is quite an experience---do it if you have strong nerves----but has amazing sites----particualry when you get to that part of Blue Ridge Pkwy.----where in pullovers you can see vista of many miles out!

I was there for a work assignment and it was perfect. Quite and peaceful. Everything I needed to make a second home for three months with space for family to visit. Bill and Liz were great hosts. I hate I didn’t get to meet them. But I will hopefully be back again.

The setting of the duplex is very beautiful with a view of mountains, a barn and grazing cows. The location close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect for us. Wonderful quiet & cozy place

This is a delightful cozy duplex, surrounded by picturesque fields and mountains, with fireflies and cows ( that had their new babies when we were there !!), and a rustic barn to complete the picture. The neighbors were very nice and we enjoyed our few chats, and at same time very respectful of privacy. The hosts are very kind and conscientious, and quick to help when needed. The unit was as advertised. Perfect for a couple or three persons. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The location is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgha Mountain. We really appreciated the quiet and secluded location. Very convenient to Asheville and surrounding area. The unit is clean and comfortable. The owners take great care to insure a great stay. Everything is supplied for a great vacation. We would recommend this place and would definitely return.

Apple "Awesome" Blossom

We stayed here for a couple weeks while we were in the area on business. The owners could not have been more accommodating and the property was fantastic. After long days of work, it was wonderful to retreat to this house, relax on the porch and watch the cows on the adjacent farm. We even bought some carrots to feed them as they would come right up to the fence. The house was well-appointed and very comfortable. All of the little things (coffee filters, salt / pepper, dishwashing supplies, laundry supplies, etc.) were already there and added to the convenience of the stay. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy this little slice of heaven. We look forward to returning next year when the second phase of our project is scheduled!

Wonderful little cottage. Clean, very well-stocked with linens, plates, napkins, cookware, and even a crib! An easy drive to Asheville & hiking. I was confused at first that it's 1 unit as part of a duplex but we hardly noticed our neighbor! Enjoyed quiet mornings watching the cows. Hope to stay again!!

Apple Blossom was such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay with our two young children. The mountain views were breathtaking and we loved watching cows by day and fireflies at night. The house was very well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to children’s books. The location is perfect for those that don’t want to stay in the city and want quick drives to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah Forest. We could not have asked for kinder hosts.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, and the scenery was picturesque (even better than the photos!) It’s also located in a good spot—quiet, rural, and surrounded by mountains, but also less than 30 minutes from Asheville. There’s a great little restaurant six miles up the road along Highway 151 where we had breakfast a couple times. We would definitely come back!

We arrived after dark to a well lit and immaculate duplex. It was a pleasant surprise when we woke the next morning to find ourselves in such a beautiful rural setting...mountains, pasture, barn, even a cow or two. The location is perfect, just 20 minutes out of Asheville or just minutes to the winding road up the side of the mountain to the Blue Ridge Parkway. If breakfast out is your plan, there is a great restaurant just down the Pisgah Highway. The owner is pleasant, caring, and available if you have questions. Great supply of sundries, extra blankets and dishes. Can't wait to return!

Place was VERY well equipped with items, kitchen items, bath items, and overall great. The neighbor had Spectrum do some adjustments that interviewed with our internet. Was a great location away from the fast pace of a city, rural farm country. Toaster didn’t work.

We stayed in the area for a sports tournament for my son, and I was fortunate to find this cute home, rather than staying in a hotel. The unit was immaculately clean, and it had a retro vibe. Coming in was like walking into a family member's home - very welcoming. The beds were comfortable, as well as the living area furniture. Liz called to make sure we had everything we needed. The view outside was absolutely stunning, with the open fields and the beautiful hills above. The most amazing part of my stay was at night, once it was completely dark. The stars were incredible, I could see thousands, and the hills were lit up with fireflies. It was almost magical. What a perfect stay; I would love to return again once I'm in the area.

My son and a buddy stayed the week there to do some motorcycle riding up in the mountains. This location is just minutes to gas and great riding. 151 dead ends at the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and is an awesome ride. Bill and Liz are great people and make sure that you have everything you need for a perfect stay. We ate all our meals on the porch and watched the cows, hummingbirds, woodchucks and fireflies. I will definitely stay here again.
