The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 8 people. The outdoor dining table can seat 6 with 4 around the expansive kitchen countertop. The large, comfy sleeper sectional and chair are perfect for lounging, watching a movie or the big game, or just relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun! The great room is perfect place to hang out together, playing games, listen to music on the sound-bar, or relax with a movie from.

The main floor covered lanai, equipped with BBQ, outdoor living room, and dining area is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day.

The downstairs lanai, the pool area, is where the fun begins and ends each day. Enjoy an early morning dip in the pool, or soothe your sore muscles after a day snorkelling, paddle boarding or hiking, or for celebrating that win at tennis or golf. County Law requires alarms on all ground-level sliding doors that lead to pool area, in order to prevent doors from being left open indefinitely.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the house completely stocked with plenty of beach gear including chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards. The kitchen had all of the appliances we could’ve wanted and there was plenty of extra bedding. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and everything we could’ve wanted. Highly recommend this as a rental.

My family had such a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. The location is convenient and the activities available through the rental property are fantastic. My children, 5 and 8 years old, took full advantage of the house pool and hot tub, as well as the community pool which was just a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the access to the private beach, Mauna Lani beach club and also made use of the complimentary Hilton Waikoloa resort. The house itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

The property was amazing. It accommodated all 12 of us perfectly! This trip to big island was by far one of our best trips ever, we had my daughter who was 9, two 17 yr Olds, and 9 adults. The house is huge, No one got in each other's ways, the pool was cleaned, the kids enjoyed the bikes, gym, onsite beach, and pool while the adults enjoyed the the deck upstairs, in which we spent many evening bbqing, playing cards, and enjoying adult drinks. The only down fall (which was taken care immediately) there were only 4 wash cloths originally for a party of 12 and one propane tank was missing. Please be advised the parking in the drive way is very short and very narrow, but do not let these small discrepancies turn you away from this amazing home.

Check in was easy, and directions were very clear. When we first got in, we noticed that the lovely dark floors were covered in dust/dirt, and our bare feet all quickly became just as dirty. The pool alarms on the three lower level doors, were not easy to use, and the second bedroom one was disconnected/not working from the moment we got there. That door was also surrounded by masking tape on the outside, and looked like it was in need of serious repair. The master closet floor was coming apart, and both myself and my toddler got our toes stuck in it. Three of us also got glass in our feet from the pool area rug, I assume from a broken glass from the previous occupants. The second day while we were gone, the two golf carts were removed from the garage. I called the management company to find out what happened, and they didn’t know, but assured me they’d find out and call back. Never happened. Still don’t know why someone came in while we were occupying the home, and don’t know if they were supposed to. We had 8 adults, 2 pre teens and a toddler and baby, and despite each person being on the reservation and renting the home for a week, there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each of the three bathrooms. You’d think we wouldn’t have to purchase our own at the rates we paid. Under all the beds was incredibly dirty, and the house needs multiple fixes throughout. The backyard gate was also open, and people could walk in at will. The pool man was scheduled to come Fridays (in our welcome packet), but was also there on Monday (a holiday) without any warning. Luckily we had closed the blinds in the bedrooms which open up to the pool area, but it was alarming to see someone back there we weren’t expecting. Not sure if the owners have been there in awhile, or it’s just cleaned and then rented. It looks lovely from far away, but needs some improvement to details to be brought up to standard to reflect the price.

This is one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. The house is really spacious, perfect for a large group. It has lovely decor, comfortable seating, and a wonderful Lanai. The kitchen had everything you could need. The property and neighborhood were beautifully maintained. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and they could ride bikes safely around the neighborhood. There is tons of beach equipment to use as well! Access to the Private beach club was fantastic.

Beautiful, well maintained & fully equipped house as described. The pool & hot tub were great after a long day of snorkeling, hiking & exploring the big island. The drawbacks were minor but worth mentioning: the water system in the house made a very high pitched noise with every flushing of the toilet & turning on of a faucet, which was quite annoying in the middle of the night; the oven did not work without a chair wedged up against it-this was reported to the property manager & someone came to look at it but it would be a while before it was fixed, & we heard nothing from the owner in regards to this problem. If you don’t care about cooking while here, no big deal, but we used the kitchen several times a day & thus the oven was an issue. We also had to buy toilet paper & it’s like they forgot to stock the house?? There was, at most, 2 rolls in each bathroom which for a house that sleeps 16 people is just silly. The house had plenty of everything else, like paper towels, bathroom toiletries, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish & hand soap. There were also plenty of beach towels & bath towels for our group of 10. Mauni Lani is a beautiful resort area & very convenient with a great grocery store within a couple minutes of the house. Also within the resort area is 49 black sand beach & the Mauni Lani resort beach, both with great snorkeling. Again, all in all, we loved this place & would stay in this house / resort again!!

It was a nice house but a bit expansive and the pool always had a hose in it for cleaning so we rarely went in. When we needed a door fixed, towels and washcloths we were not even prioritized just forgotten. Too bad there weren’t as eager to help when we needed them as they were to get us out.

The house was as described and perfect for our group. The rental property company was very responsive both before and during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, same for the pool and beach gear. Our only complaint was that it seemed like the cushions on the furniture and the rugs needed a deep clean. Besides that the house was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Muana Lani. This home is really special. We all loved the way the living area opened up into the Lanai. Fun to watch the golfers play through. We also enjoyed the Surrey Bike, but it is really hard to peddle! Didn’t expect that. The home is well appointed with things you will need. So many bicycles, beach chairs, towels and toys. Saltwater pool was small but very nice! We were a bit overwhelmed with the rules and the number of times we were provided with them, but overall a very nice stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

I’ve stayed at dozens of Kohala Coast condos over the years and this one was absolutely the best. The private pool (heated!) and hot tub is rare in the area and they were awesome. The kitchen has every thing you could possibly want, from a wine fridge to an air fryer. The garage is stocked with awesome bikes, beach equipment, and other goodies. There were baskets of big beach towels in the hallway and bedrooms. The view was magnificent at sunset, and unexpectedly even came with a distant ocean view. The property is beautifully furnished with unusually comfortable yet elegant furniture, and nice art. It made for the absolutely perfect stay for our family that included my young adult children and toddler grandson (who adored the pool). The door alarms to the pool made us feel very safe having the toddler there, and while they can be a bit annoying at first, once you figure them out, it’s no problem. Will definitely stay again!

This home far exceeded our expectations! We typically stay at either the Fairmont or Mauna Lani, (which are both a walk/bike ride away) so I was a little nervous that we would miss that luxury/vacation feeling by staying in a home. Let me tell you, that wasn’t the case. The house is even more gorgeous in person and was impeccably clean and decorated. The reason we opted for a house this time was because we had invited my husband’s brother and his family to join us. Between us we had 6 kids ranging from 2-13 and everyone had more than enough space. We were down in the master and it was almost like we were in our own hotel room. I was a littler nervous that the older kids running in and out from the pool would mean I would have to constantly be on high alert with my two year old possibly getting out, but the alarms on the door made it impossible for him to slip out on his own. Most of the time he loved watching the kids swim from the balcony, which was great! The kitchen is so well equipped, that it had even more things than my own kitchen at home! Blenders (yes, plural!), serve ware, kid cups...you name it! They have the essentials like basic spices and olive oil but you will need your own sugar, flour, soy sauce, etc. We hit up Costco straight after we landed and it worked great! They had enough bikes for all of us and even accommodated our request for one of the bikes to have training wheels. We rented a baby bike trailer from them and when it had a flat tire, they were quick and helpful to rectify the situation. The view out the balcony is awesome because all you see is golf course and you can even see the ocean far off in the distance. The location of this house in particular is great because it is tucked back right by a little round about that almost makes it feel like the end of a culdesac. I’m not sure I will ever want to stay anywhere else now! Thank you!!

Property is very spacious, own private pool and hot tub was amazing. They had security alarms on the doors downstairs to get to the pool that would go off if the door was left open too long. So we’d have to rush through to then close the door before the alarm went off which was annoying at times. However the villa was still very beautiful and had almost everything we needed to be comfortable. The owners do a great job in making sure the villas had everything needed to cook or have a fun beach day.

The Hawaiian Destiny home was wonderfully appointed--everything we could possibly need was available to us--from coffee grinder to beach amenities it was there before we knew we needed it! We had a family vacation with our two grown children, their spouses, and our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. The home provided both privacy for each of us as well as a large area for us to gather comfortably. The home was clean and well furnished. Each bedroom had a separate bathroom, well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, appliances, and basic pantry items. While we did not use the grill on the lanai, it was clean and ready to use. The pool and hot tub was used to relax after a day of touring the island. It was a delight coming home to such a welcoming space. We loved the private beach and Hawaiian Destiny provided boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, sand castle-making supplies, floating device for our granddaughter, and beach towels! We lacked nothing for our trips to the beach. There are kayaks, SUP boards, and other equipment available to rent at the beach. There are also a variety of bicycles available. We never made it to the community pool--as we had everything we needed at our home-away-from-home. We had a wonderful vacation in Hawaii--so many sites to see and enjoy--and our home base of Hawaii Destiny was the icing on cake. Mahalo!!

We can't say enough about this wonderful vacation home in the KaMilo community. The home was just as described, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, and perfectly accommodated our family of 5. The amenities of the home and in KaMilo and Mauna Lani made for an outstanding vacation week. The house was clean and in perfect order. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need, including pantry items such as oil, spices, sugar, etc. so you don't have to over purchase at the grocery store. The garage is filled with plenty of beach and pool items. Laundry was easy with all the supplies you need. There are 4 beach towels provided...we could have used a couple extra for our family. We rented an electric cart and it was great to get around the resort area. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is very nice, close, and quiet, but it is only a quick 10 min. car ride to the beautiful public beaches (Hapuna and Mauna Kea) and those were our favorites. Jeff and Suzanne were readily available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed several rounds of golf, spent lots of time at the pools (our private pool and the KaMilo community pools) and beaches, and did a few excursions as well (National Volcanoes Park, horseback riding, shopping and dining at The Villages of Mauna Lani and Waikoloa Village). We would absolutely stay in this awesome home again! Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect!

We are already planning our next trip back! This home was well stocked with everything one could possibly want. Beds were comfortable, three full bathrooms, bath and beach towels and kitchen was well equipped. Lanai was a wonderful place to spend the evening and morning watching the sun set and rise. We cooked most of our meals at home and used the grill a lot as well. We did dine at Napua for dinner one night and while pricey, it was delicious! Having access to the beach club was wonderful! While we enjoyed Hapuna Beach, the beach club was so close and having access to chairs and cabanas was extremely handy so we didn't have to take so much stuff to the beach. There are so many things to do close by as well. Kiholo beach was fantastic for a morning walk and seeing several sea turtles. We had three kids in our group of 12 and they absolutely loved having a private pool as well! Grown-ups were able to sit in the hot tub while the kids played in the pool. I do recommend that it's best to try to put your late sleepers upstairs if possible as sliding of chairs and walking around can be heard downstairs. We had small kids on the pull-out in the main living room and even though the grown-ups were awake, they could still sleep as long as we were quiet. All in all, we had a wonderful experience here. It was truly a little slice of paradise!!

One of the worst things about taking a vacation is that often it ends up being more effort than staying home (staycation) where you have all your comforts and amenities (albeit not in a tropical setting). What was great about staying here is that we had all of the comforts and amenities we were used to in a great house where three families were able to share a week while not feeling like we were crowding each other! We can't wait to return! The house layout is very comfortable and function with high quality furnishings, very nice kitchen, and multiple areas to hang out at. It is close to grocery shopping, beaches, swimming, etc. A perfect base camp! The pool is very nice to come home to after a long day at the beach of snorkeling. A nice soak in the hot tub in the morning is a great way to start the day. The surrounding beaches were all great. After visiting several we ended up enjoying the local beach club resort that you get access to the most since it had great snorkeling, comfortable chairs, and shade if needed. We saw turtles at every beach we snorkeled at. Too cool! An overly glowing review can make some skeptical so I will share the only two negatives we experienced. First on the upper lanai there is a small 1.5" step down that is tiled the same as the rest of the Lanai; when sitting outside in the evening this ledge is perfectly camoflagued! Toes and ankles be aware! It needs to be marked for visibility. Second complaint is that two of our groups came from the US and one from NZ; this means that while one group wanted an extra few hours sleep the other two were wide awake and moving around. The NZ group was in the downstairs master suite and the upstairs floor is a very nice wood/bamboo? flooring that has light ridges on it. As the US groups would pull up a chair to sit (the dining table is directly above the master suite) the chairs being pulled back over the ridges on the floor would make a stunning amount of noise below. A nice throw rug would solve it. These are minor items and are more FYI items than anything. Overall, we are already dreaming and scheming of our next trip back again. We will not consider another place unless we can't get in here. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Great spot, well-stocked with all the things you'll need for a trip to the beach. They supply enough paper goods and other items so you won't need to go and purchase them when you arrive. Nice neighborhood as well.
