About this house rental
Antique, beautifully restored farmhouse, with magnificent view over the Mugello Valley and the lake of Bilancino.
Large kitchen with all facilities and open fireplace private garden with beautiful view, separate loggia and pergola where you can enjoy your meals 'al fresco'.
Ground floor: kitchen with all the facilities (oven-microwave, dishwasher, fridge, gas fire), two bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with twin beds), bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, bidet). A small storage room with washing machine.
First floor: large living-room with Sky TV-Computer Wi-FI and DVD and CD player, library with books and CD films, second bathroom (bathtub, sink, toilet, bidet), studio with sofa-bed.
We are a couple, architect and painter, living in an old farm house that we have restored with great care.
The home stands on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful Mugello Valley. It’s divided in two units from ground to roof. We live in one part and rent the other unit (sq meters 150), completely independent with its own private entrance, exclusive garden and separate pergola and loggia.
The home is situated in the Mugello Valley, 40 minutes drive from Florence, an area where the famous Medici Family, Princes of Florence, has its origin and where many famous artists from the past were born (Giotto, Beato Angelico, Cimabue).
The house is published in the books “Country Interiors” and “Icons: Tuscan style”, both edited in 6 languages by Taschen.
CREATIVE PAINTING COURSE available on request. The guest is welcome to apply for short creative painting course to take place in the nearby Studio of the Artist.

Rustic, clean, comfortable and very charming farmhouse with breathtaking views. We woke up to birds singing and the smell of honeysuckle. Ate breakfast in the beautiful private garden with hummingbirds and small lizards visiting. Hosts were accessible and very helpful. Everything is as pictured and worked well. 15 min from grocery store and 10 min from beach. Highly recommend!!!!!!

A tastfully made countryhouse, a harmonic place with friendly lessors who gave us good tips for ventures with pleasure. For2 weeks we really felt at home there and enjoyed the swimming in the lake nearby.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful holiday house. It exceeded our expectations on all aspects. A very nice and authentic farm house, equipped with everything one would need. Fantastic surroundings, a nice garden with many possibilities so sit outside. The house is easy to reach. And not to forget a very nice contact with the friendly owners, who kindly supported us with anything we needed. Highly recommended!!

The farmhouse is at the end of a gravel road in the Tuscan hills, the perfect setting for complete relaxation. Hosts were very kind - including fresh fruit when we arrived and winery recommendations. Less than a hour to Florence, so visiting there was easy as well.
