About this house rental
We purchased Lind Sue in April of 2016. We updated and refreshed the house and created a back yard outdoor space that would provide an area where families could gather and enjoy each other's company. With 5 children and 11 grandchildren it was important to us. We continued to invest in the outdoor environment by adding swings in the rear under the shade of the live oaks, and in the car port. A fire pit in the back yard and in 2026 we added a built in Propane grill, a masonry pizza oven, and replaced all the exterior decks. Most, if not all, of out outdoor furniture is Poly Resin and there are plenty of rockers and loungers. Homes with outdoor space like this are rare in the OBX.
Our Linda Sue has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. One bedroom on the entrance level, three on the mid-level and one on the third floor. All bedrooms have a private baths, flat screen TVs and direct access to an outside deck. There are two additional TVs in the living areas on the entrance level and upper level. The entrance level bedroom has a pyramid bunk. The three mid-level bedrooms have Queens and the upper level bedroom is a King. We also provide an outside lift so moving cargo to the top floor is a breeze.
We try to provide everything you need to enjoy your stay at the outer banks. The décor in general tells you that you are at the beach. We continually update features to keep it as good as it can be. We really want you to feel at home while you enjoy your vacation.
It's a short walk to the beach and Nags Head Fishing Pier. Shopping is right around the corner. Good restaurants north or south. Fine or casual dining. Water sports and fishing in the ocean or sound. Relax in the Hot Tub or pool. Golf is near by. If you are really adventurous you can try hand gliding on Jockey's ridge or just visit the Wright Brother's memorial. There is also plenty of nightlife near by. Everything you need to enjoy yourself and your family on your vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. We spent the entire weekend in the back yard between the pool and the hot tub. This house has everything you need and more. We would absolutely book again!

The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more. There was more than enough space for 5 adult couples and the outdoor area was incredible!!

This house was great, had an excellent layout for multiple families. Each room has it's own bathroom and access to an outside porch. The living/dining room was open and could accommodate lots of people without having to be separated. We made use of the fire pit and hot tub every night. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, the house had linens, towels, beach chairs, high chairs, porta cribs, everything you can think of that a traveling family would need. The beach is a short walk away and the neighborhood great for walking. 10/10!
