We had a great stay with 4 families coming together while also having plenty of space and bathrooms to spread out! Great location to the pool and beach!

Beautiful surroundings family/friends fellowship. We had an awesome time. I would like to have cable TV as it is difficult to access the TV through streaming at times

Our group was large (26) and the house fit us all and then some! It was was equipped for a group of our size. The two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two washer/dryers and ice makers were perfect. We all loved having our own bathrooms too! The pool was just steps away and it was awesome that we could feed one child upstairs while still having eyes on a child in the pool. Our boys loved the grassy area out back and played endless hours of wiffle ball. The beach was an easy two minute walk. It was not hard to find a spot on the beautiful white sand. We enjoyed the volleyball net too! It was a wonderfully appointed house. The wifi and televisions were spotty but we didn't mind because we wanted to enjoy being at the beach. The surrounding area was awesome too. Grocery shopping was close and would deliver if needed. DoorDash and UberEats also. Highly recommend visiting FloraBama on the Florida-Alabama line. The night life is not for children but during the day they have BINGO>

The location of this property is fantastic and we really enjoyed the large porch with ocean and pool views, the pool and the proximity to the beautiful beach. The house itself was once a gem, however it is now filthy and poorly maintained. The week kicked off with the primary bathroom shower being fully clogged with sand. Cleaning crew reported it and we received NO update from the property manager at all. Next day I started calling for updates and it was two days before I received a gruff voicemail stating “call me”. No pertinent update for me on the vm. My son in law finally took a kitchen knife and was able to clear the sand himself. The grill was solid filth and grease inside and out. I used an all purpose cleaner to make the outside clean enough to use, and we burned off the grease inside. It was very disgusting - Renters - show some courtesy and leave the grill clean enough for the next group! Mid week the cockroaches appeared which terrified my middle grandson. Bedroom storage is extremely lacking and there were very few hangers even in the closets. Many of the beds were shot. There was no rug in the lower entry to catch the sand and the house has an outdoor shower however it was full of trash and garbage. This house should have been a five star - its sad that it is in the shape it’s in. It needs to be taken out of service and cleaned top to bottom, bugs removed, and bedroom furnishings improved for the price they are charging.

We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation in this beautiful house. Five families with a total of 21 people, and we had plenty of room. The pool and beach are just steps from the house, and there are thoughtful amenities throughout the house and property. Would suggest clearer directions for the Smart TV's (you will need to access your own apps such as Netflix, etc.) Best vacation ever! We highly recommend this awesome house!

We loved staying at this home. The location was great.. The home was very beautiful ., The beach and pool were steps away. I had to call the owner about something and she was very responsive. Great wonderful memories were made! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.. 🙂

We just returned from a great week in Orange Beach. This house was fantastic for our group of 12 with PLENTY of room for everyone. Highlights include top floor bunk room with attached bathroom and TV room that was perfect for our teens, perfect location overlooking pool with views of the ocean, and easy walk to the beach. This house is on the quieter end of Orange Beach, which was great for not feeling crowded on the beach, but still close enough that we were to restaurants and grocery stores in less than 5 minutes. Although previous reviews mentioned no Keurig or blender both were in the kitchen when we arrived. Our only recommendations for improvement would be to replace some of the pots/pans in the kitchen and the 2nd floor master bath shower is slow to drain. It truly was the best week and we hope to return again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. This is our second year at the same location and we came back because we love the access to the beach. This house in particular was very well stocked in the kitchen with spices and Ziploc bags, etc. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

This was our third year to stay in this house. It has always been a favorite of our family because it is spacious and provides plenty of room. However, this year we were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the home. There was sand left on the floors in many of the bedrooms and the main porch needed a good power wash (lots of stains). Grill was left dirty. The main refrigerator had shelves missing and broken drawers, many of the dishes were chipped (cups & plates) and there were only a few cereal bowls left. Pots and pans definitely need an upgrade! There was a base for a blender but no top container - we did buy a blender that we left for others to use. Mattresses in several rooms could use an upgrade. Again, we hate to leave a negative review because this house has been the site of many great memories for our family BUT we felt that a refresh is definitely needed. The positives are that this is a nice home for large families in a wonderful neighborhood, great location and easy access to the beach, beautiful pool area and close to grocery shopping and nice restaurants. Hoping that improvements will be made so everyone will continue to enjoy this beach home.

This was an eleven person family vacation. Upon arriving at 5:00p (an hour after the allowed check in time), we pull into the driveway and notice a vehicle already parked in the designated parking area. Immediately we're thinking OH NO! This place is double booked! We enter the home to find out what's going on and find the cleaner in the middle of cleaning the property. We were then told by the cleaner that she was not aware that there was a check in that day. We attempt to reach out to the property manager but get no response. After multiple voicemails, texts, calls, and a chat with VRBO we finally get a call back over an hour later from the property manager. We explain the issue and the HUGE inconvenience, only to be asked, "Well what do you want?" (regarding our request for something to be done about the inconvenience). We made suggestions of what could be done to assist us in this inconvenience. She said, "Let me call you back". We NEVER received a call back with any kind of apology or offers to make the horrible check in experience any better. So we waited over an hour to allow the cleaner to finish and FINALLY got settled. Pros:Nice, spacious home for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom, Nice balcony off of the kitchen / living area to relax and eat, Very nice kitchen with upgraded appliances and gas stove Cons:Horrible check in process, Horrible communication with the property manager, No cable / Remotes with no batteries, NOT a BEACH FRONT property!

Everything was great and very clean and easy to get around. We also left it very clean as well.

VERY disappointed that NO access to cable TV so unable to watch the football games that are a HUGE part of our celebration. Missing batteries from remotes, Refrigerator in kitchen not cooling properly and freezer not freezing at all. No phone number readily available to contact host. I am requesting a partial refund

Overall experience and gated community was 10/10. Like many others, communication with owner was non existent during our stay. We did not have a blender, broom, or bed sheets for the sleeper sofa. We messaged the host with no response. We had to purchase these items ourselves. I would love to stay in this community again, but in a different rental.

There were 15 of us. We had a wonderful time at this property and location. The pool was very nice for our kids. The beach is easy access within the development. The beach and sand are beautiful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely nice. The master is very well done. Kitchen pots and pans could be replaced. (Unfortunately people don’t take care of them) Cell and internet service is spotty. Though we were not there to be on our phones. Overall great property, and the owner was very helpful and very accessible. We hope to return to this property and location.

Overall the property was great. We did have to give the kitchen frig and cabinets a once over - nothing was clean, so that was a disappointing way to spend your first two hours.

This house was amazing. 8 adults and 10 children ages 2-9 and there was a bed for everyone plus a few extra. Ideal location. Worked perfectly for my family. Plan on returning to this same house next year.

We had a large group of 22, 10 adults and 12 teens. This home is so large and accommodating! The top floor with the bunk beds, full bath and tv area was perfect for all the teen boys! It's BEAUTIFULLY decorated and supplied with everything you need. There was plenty of parking and the elevator was so nice for transporting luggage. beach is an easy short walk and the community grounds are beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, great place, awesome location, and we would book again. There are a few thing that could have been better but not enough that would prevent us from coming back. It was more frustrating that they are listed and not available and wouldn't be a big deal if they just weren't listed at all. I'll try to note these things in the review. But again, overall great place. Pool was nice and beach was so close. Overall place was clean, but icemaker needs to have a cleaning cycle performed. There was black specs in the ice when we got there. Some of the cabinet drawers in the kitchen could be cleaned. Inside seals of washing machines need scrubbed. We could not get a consistent wifi signal. We had some success getting shows to stream in the downstairs den, but it was really bad in the living room. Details sent with booking noted separate wifi for each level, but I have no idea what that was about. Only one wifi name and password was provided. There was a receiver and BOSE soundbar in living room but no clue how to use. There needs to be instructions. There were speakers on deck but again no idea how to use. Kitchen could use some better cookware and probably some addition dinnerware if you have a large group. Listing notes dining for 24, but that must count the table, bar, and two tables and chairs on deck. Deck is nice off living room and kitchen and I'm not sure why they don't include a photo or 2 of it. Things missing or non-functional that are included in listing or booking info: Blender Kuerig TV on deck X-box (there but no controllers) Outdoor shower (had some outdoor games stored in it. We moved them out but it had some trash and a cigarette butt inside.) Outdoor bath (toilet/sink were next to shower but locked) Again, all issues that could be cleaned up easily or fixed by updating the listing. Farrah promptly responded to a question about parking at the unit prior to our check in time, but never responded when we asked about the blender. I didn't follow up or ask about the wifi or any other issues based on some of the other reviews of the communication. Overall, great place that is just missing a few of the finishing touches necessary for an all 5 star rating.

The property was perfect for our family. Bathrooms for every bedroom and the bunk room with adjoining game room was very nice. The only complaint was slow internet and no way to watch bowl games. The only way you can use TVs is to stream through Netflix, etc. very disappointing to the men in the family. We also tried to use elevator but door code did not work.

I booked this home for my family to stay the week of Thanksgiving. We arrived Tuesday night and checked out Saturday morning. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Moreover, the property is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and shopping. My family had a wonderful time and at the end of the day, we enjoyed our stay overall. My negative is that I reached out to the host the day we arrived when we could get not get any of the televisions to work. After a day without response, I reached out to VRBO and they tried to contact the host without success. They ultimately gave me her phone number. (The only method of communication I was initially given was to message the host through the VRBO app.) I called and texted the host and again, she never responded in any way. We also could not get the elevator door to open. But since the host never responded to my messages about the televisions, I saw little point in trying to contact her about this subsequently discovered issue with the elevator. As I noted in my last message to her at check out, I pray nothing tragic happened to prevent her from responding to me. But if there was no intervening circumstance, I found the lack of communication disappointing especially given the amount paid for the rental. In summary, great place to stay as long as you don’t encounter any issues and need support from the host.

We loved the house and the location. It was perfect for us. I have a few suggestions for improvement… There is no Keurig. Take it off the description or replace it. I would recommend detailed instructions for how to use the elevator. The middle sliding door going from family room to deck won’t lock. Have someone check behind the cleaning crew. There were empty snack cups left sitting around and grounds left in one of the coffee makers. We also had to wash several items in the kitchen before using. The sofa in the family room needs to be professionally cleaned. It has several stains. These aren’t big things but would enhance the stay for future renters. I would rent this house again for sure.

All of my children and grandchildren where there!! We slept abt in every bed!!! So quiet community and children oriented and just a few steps to beach!!! Loved the elevator for my husband and I especially loading and unloading!! I hope we can go back next year!!!! Great memories I feel very special to get to do this once a year!!!!

Easy process. A lot of add on expenses. It fit our family very well. The grill outside was nasty and the washer upstairs was moldy. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We would probably rent again but I hope the place is a little better maintained. It was a great family time for us all.

We enjoyed a 2 week stay at the Southern Exposure home! This was our second year to stay in this house! Love the neighborhood feel of this location! Our children and grandchildren enjoyed the cornhole and ring toss games available at the home. The grandkids enjoyed meeting friends in adjoining houses and they defininitely enjoyed the pool!! Short walk to beach - rental chairs and umbrellas readily available if you are traveling here by plane. Definitely enjoyed the two laundry areas, two refrigerators and the spacious porch overlooking the pool and views of the ocean!! House is well equipped - cookware could be updated but all in all had everything we needed!!! Can't wait to return to this house in 2023!!!

We all had a great family vacation.

This property was amazing. It’s location is great. It fit our family’s needs perfect. Although I can’t rate it a 5 because of the communication issue with the property owner. There were a few things I emailed him about and I never heard from him. One issue was the outside toilet. It was bubbling when we arrived and eventually stopped up. The ice maker stopped working. We turned it off, then a few days later turned it back on and it worked. I emailed him about a few more small things but he never responded. Luckily it was no big issues like an AC problem or inside plumbing. Overall it was a great vacation. It just would of been nice to have received a response from him after 5 emails.

We had a wonderful time! We had a group of 6 families, which included 11 adults, an 8 year old, six 3 year olds, and three 1 year olds—Plenty of space for everyone! The only issue we ran into was the Wi-Fi not working the best in certain rooms, which may have had more to do with the number of people trying to use it at the same time. The two sets of washer/dryer, two fridges, and lots of seating options were perfect for a big group. Beautiful views, beautifully decorated, easy access to both the pool and beach, and some fun outdoor toys available. Our group would definitely recommend!
