The entire family will enjoy this location. Within less than 3/4 mile from the cabin you’ll have access to a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, restaurants, a grocery store and more. Within a 5 mile radius you can enjoy fishing or boating on Henry’s Lake or the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. Rafts, kayaks, canoes and bicycles can also be rented 1/4 mile from the cabin.
The private half acre property surrounding Eagle’s Nest is forested with lodge pole pines. You’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the raised wrap-around deck. The birds in Island Park are amazing. Depending on the season you can see and hear flocks of trumpeter swans and waterfowl, ospreys, hawks, eagles, hummingbirds, finches and many species of song birds. The thing you'll notice about Island Park is that wildlife is everywhere: deer, antelope, moose, elk, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits abound.
Inside, the tastefully rustic decor is inviting. The furniture is comfortable. The upstairs has pine vaulted ceilings throughout. The great room contains a spacious and well-equipped cook’s kitchen, a dining table that seats up to 10, and a living area with a cozy gas fireplace, leather furniture and a 48" TV. The comfortable master bedroom has a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a large tiled shower and jetted tub. Two other bedrooms have queen beds and the fourth has 2 sets of bunk beds (twin/full and twin/twin). Each bedroom has easy access to one of the 3 full bathrooms. The downstairs provides a spacious family room with comfortable leather seating and an amazing 65” TV. Fast WIFI allows you to stream video from Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and more, using your accounts. You can also watch Dish Network satellite TV (Top 200 channels) or watch Blu Ray discs from our collection, or rented nearby.

There are lots of other day trips to choose from, including Teton National Park, Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, the Red Rocks Lakes nature preserve (a bird watchers dream), and more. Enjoy horseback riding, whitewater or scenic rafting, boating, fishing and hiking. We’ll share our favorite spots for soaking in a natural hot spring or swimming in scenic splendor.
