About this house rental
This amazing pool home is all you need in Tampa to relax. The pool is heated between October- April. Sitting on a half-acre the property is located on the Rocky Creek Canal and has fishing available right across the street. This is a four roomy bedroom with 2 full bathroom w/ 2,000 sq ft of living space. There are TVs in every room and a 70" big screen in the family room. There are 3 queen-size beds and 1 full-size bed. There are also 2 sleeper sofas. There is seating for six at the dining room table. There is also a deck in the back with a table and chairs set in the shade, as well as a hammock to enjoy the outside beauty. The place is just amazing. The pool is heated to 82ºF

The house was great, met our needs perfectly. Communication with host was fast and easy. The pool could use a cleaning but that's how it is when it rains every day. Had a better than typical assortment of kitchen items, which helped tremendously because we did a lot of cooking. Location is on a busy road and getting in an out of the driveway was sometimes a challenge but it is convenient to anything you could need. There were many thoughtful touches (a stroller, first aide kit, a selection of coffee pods and condiment packets, spices, etc) Would recommend to friends and family who come into the area.

My first impression of the house was that it needed an upgrade on all of the decor. The house smelled stale as though it had been closed up for a while and definitely did not give me the impression that it had been cleaned recently. My husband and sons went to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned/sprayed off the deck area, which took quite a while from our time on the first evening there. The couches, chairs, rugs, dishes, and outdoor furniture are all very dated. The pool area looked unkempt and dingy. There seemed to be no yard work or landscaping done. The pool was not cleaned. My husband had to clean it before we could even enjoy it. The master bathroom is VERY dated. It’s sad because the house could really be nice if a little TLC along with a few hundred dollars were invested. I was told there was a brand new coffee maker (no biggie, right? So why lie about that?) the coffee pot was old and rusty. Had to be cleaned before using it. We made the most of it, but we did have to spend time on things that should’ve been taken care of by the owners prior to us arriving. There was also someone who came to “clean” the pool on like day 4 or 5 of our stay - no forewarning, no introduction, nothing. He actually startled my daughter in law and I because we were heading out to go to the pool and saw someone back there. Overall, the house could be a cool vacation home, but for the cost- it definitely needs work! Regardless of the cost, it should smell clean and fresh for guests.
