About this apartment rental
Paradise Too!, one of the few studios located on Bolongo Bay, is our Island Home when it is "just us". Purchased in the spring of 2010, this gem has been completely refurbished, redecorated, and updated to our specifications. Because it is our personal retreat, we have added touches that we enjoy in our home on the mainland: a tiled walk-in shower, fluffy 100% cotton towels, CuisinArt stainless cookware, luxurious 100% cotton 300 ct. bedding, a Dressing Area, gorgeous artwork by St. Thomas resident Jonna White. Decorative items and restful, tropical fabrics blend to create a casually elegant and wonderfully restful Tropical Retreat for honeymooners, that "special anniversary", or two people needing to escape from it all.
Walk out the oversized sliding glass door (yes, also new!) and onto your personal patio. Sit at the teak table with your morning coffee, surrounded by the striking fan palms and the sound of the gentle waves. This is Paradise Too! With a view of the Caribbean most people can only dream about, you will lack for nothing in your lovely poolside vacation home. You will have access to three pools - all very different.
Along the waterfront are two restaurants. Mim's Seafood Bistro is famous for her lobster and seafood with a touch of Italian cuisine. Iggies Oasis serves scrumptious breakfasts, lunch, and dinner. Iggies always has something entertaining going on in the evening!
An array of activities are available to our Guests. Tennis courts and basketball courts are onsite. Walk down 6 steps from the oceanfront pool and you will find yourself on a sandy path. Follow the shoreline to the large sandy beach of Bolongo Bay. A PADI dive shop provides free scuba lessons, equipment rentals, and diving and snorkeling excursions. At the dock is the pride of the Resort, Heavenly Days - a 53' catamaran.
The resort's Activities Desk is happy to book a sunset sail or snorkel trip aboard this cat. A well-stocked Beach Hut is available for rentals of a large variety of non-motorized water sports (kayaks, windsurfers, hobie cats, etc.). Your beach days are no problem as you will find everything you might need in your Paradise Too! Beach chairs, oversized towels, masks and snorkels, coolers and noodles are just waiting to hit the sand! Sea turtles and rays are frequently seen when snorkeling on the reef - don't forget the water camera!
Your location on Bolongo Bay puts you in the most central location on the island! An 8 mile drive west and you are in Charlotte Amalie. The capitol of the USVI, this is now one of the largest duty-free shopping areas in the world! Walking down the narrow alleys and the centuries-old architecture will conjure up visions of the pirates that roamed these byways. Just past the shopping area lies Frenchtown...and some of the best cafes and restaurants on the island.
Leave Bolongo and drive 8 miles north to arrive in the quaint town of Red Hook - the yachting capitol of St. Thomas. Ferries to St. John and the BVI depart from here. Most charter boats (fishing, sailing, etc.) are docked here. Red Hook also is home to a large variety of restaurants and shops. Just past Red Hook is a Margaritaville restaurant for all of you Cheeseburger in Paradise fans!

Amazing stay in the perfect location. Right on the water with beautiful sunrise views, and being on the first floor made it easy to go straight out to the pool and bay anytime. Walking distance to Mimi’s and Iggie’s and centrally located on the island, so getting around was easy. The place was small and affordable but exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. Sue was super accommodating, informative, and very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Small issue when we got their but Susan made it right. Streaming is much better than the cable. The red light was on more than the blue light, on the cable box. Susan had to sign us into the app for the roku, my sister was able to sign into 4 of the apps. Then we had TV at night while we were in.

The location was great. Pool right outside the door and a short walk to the beach. Bolongo Bay had everything we needed for a few night stay!
