About this resort

Enclaved on a private beach just across from Isla Mujeres, Villa del Palmar is the ideal retreat for guests that don't want to be in Cancun's busy hotel strip, but still only 25 minutes away from it, and 35 minutes from the airport. The Mayan Ruins at El Meco Archaeological Site and Playa Mujeres Golf Club, designed by Greg Norman, are also just a short ride away. A 5 min walk to the ferry dock and enjoy a day trip to Isla Mujeres which features a turtle farm, swimming with dolphins and whale sharks, as well as a variety of local bars and restaurants and souvenir shops.
The resort is designed to reflect the Mayan legacy; first class amenities cradled within a palm studded oasis offering world class spa and fitness facilities, five swimming pools, four bars including a beach tiki bar and a variety of gourmet dining options, as well as a grocery/convenience store and a Starbucks Coffee Store on site; a dedicated kids club with splash pool and a host of activities on land and sea to keep booth little-ones and grown-ups fully entertained.
The one bedroom suite offers all the amenities of a high-end apartment with a full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, dining room, beautifully appointed living room complete with a pull-out bed and full bathroom, laundry center with washer and dryer, three flat screen television with cable service, central air conditioning and ceiling fans, private balconies with hammocks and a table for 4. Big bedroom with king bed and a full ensuite bathroom with whirlpool jacuzzi and two sinks.
Available during Christmas week (7 nights), this luxury suite can also be booked for other dates throughout the year, just check availability.

I really enjoyed our stay at this resort! My grandkids had a great time with the activities scheduled throughout. And the fact that the resort had elevators and ramps everywhere made it easy for me to move around. I especially appreciated that there were wheelchairs available to borrow at the concierge desk as I was able to go along when visiting the sites nearby with the rest of the family. Really great detail! Couldn't be happier! Hope to be back again!
