About this house rental
Our end unit townhome is located on the second fairway of the Black Bear Course at Bear Trap Dunes. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the golf course and pond from the screened back porch, sun deck, wrap-around front porch or from any seat in the family room, kitchen and master bedroom. Now featuring a Peloton for guest use.
Whether you are looking for family time at the beach or a fun golf getaway, Bear Trap Dunes is a great place for your vacation. The Community is located just two and half miles from Bethany Beach with convenient bus shuttles (in season) that take the hassle out of parking. Or you can enjoy the 27-hole championship golf course with practice facility, pro shop and clubhouse. The clubhouse features a bar/grill area for golfers and the Bistro restaurant which is great for families. There are also two outdoor pools, one indoor pool (for those rainy days), fitness center basketball course and 5 tennis courts available to our guests. All are within walking distance of our home. Guests must pay a weekly access fee to use the community amenities other than the golf course. This fee is paid at the Pavilion and does not go to property owner. Guest passes cost $55 per person per week From Memorial Day through Labor Day and are $40 all other times. Passes are not required for children under 4 years old.
Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and is great for two families, or a foursome of golfers. There are 2 master bedrooms with full baths - one on the first floor with a King bed, the other upstairs with a Queen bed. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. One has a pair of twin beds, and the other has four twin beds. They share a “Jack and Jill” style bathroom. The first floor has a queen sleep sofa to allow for up to 12 people. ***Linens and towels are NOT provided however***
Our home is smoke-free (but cigars are welcome on the porch).
The kitchen is fully equipped, has an island with seating for four and opens to the dining area and the large family room. While enjoying this family space, you may also watch TV, treat yourself to the warmth of the gas fireplace, read a book, put together a jigsaw puzzle or play one of the assortments of games provided. There is a den off the kitchen with a smart TV, and DVD player for a separate kid-friendly area. There are also 4 bicycles available for use by our renters.
The house is uniquely situated on a quiet, dead-end street with a single car garage and convenient parking in front.
The convenience to the beach, golf course and world-class amenities are all you need for a great vacation. Weekly rentals are generally Saturday to Saturday. Monthly and weekend/nightly rentals are also available. We look forward to having you as a guest.

Everything was great and as described. Plenty of room to spread out for multiple people, well stocked with everything (soap, cleaning and paper products, dishes) and lots of beach items in great shape. Sunset over golf course was lovely from screened porch. Only confusing thing was the need to purchase activity passes to ride shuttle. I didn’t see that info when booked which would have added a lot for 7 people - we ended up driving to the beach.

They weren’t kidding about those sunsets! The location of this unmatched - directly faces the golf course for fun entertainment and the unit is spacious with tons of light. The screened in porch was our favorite area of the house. You do have to bring your own towels and linens but the house is well stocked with kitchen supplies and beach gear/toys. The location of the unit is within walking distance (even for a 3 year old!) to the clubhouse where the pools, gyms, courts and playground are.The hosts are amazing and super responsive. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
