Kialoa is a spacious three-level oceanfront duplex located within the private, oceanside Spinnakers Reach community. Known for its wide beaches and beautiful emerald-green water, this quiet, family-friendly neighborhood offers both privacy and convenience, with a community pool, toddler playground, and small clubhouse just across the street at the end of the driveway.
Designed for easy gathering and relaxed coastal living, the home features six bedrooms—including two king rooms and four queen rooms (one with an additional twin bed)—along with four full bathrooms. Beds are made with fresh linens prior to arrival, and each bathroom is stocked with clean towels, so you can settle in with ease from the moment you arrive.
Kialoa offers direct beach access via its own private boardwalk and dune-side deck, making it easy to move from home to shoreline in minutes. Property was clean and met needs for a multi-family group of 11. Beach access was easy to get to. Note that on busy days the beach in front of this home and nearby homes fills up due to public access immediately to left. Plenty of beach toys to keep the young ones happy. It was great to see someone supply basic seasonings, which went well with a fully equipped and supplied kitchen (plenty of plates, glasses, silverware). While I was very pleased with sleeping on a firm bed, some members of my party would have preferred that at least 1-2 bedrooms had softer mattresses. Note: blender was functional, but seemed limited to one or two speeds so this item is probably ready to be replaced.

Another amazing week at the beach. We love Emerald Isle and this rental is one of the best. There is plenty of room for extended family to spread out. The new decking and deck furniture is great. The house is in a great location, was very clean and well maintained. It had comfortable beds, kitchen/cooking essentials, and many amenities. The only negative comments heard during the entire stay - the coffee cups are too small!

The perfect house for multiple families! We enjoyed this house so much. The kitchen had everything you needed and they had several ocean toys and chairs. We had 4 families, with kids ranging from 1-13.

We loved the location and the property! It was absolutely beautiful and just what we needed. However, in all the many communications we had with the owner, we were never told that the other side of the duplex was undergoing MAJOR renovations. On the Tuesday after Memorial Day, we were awakened at 9:15 on our vacation asking us to move our car (from in front of the garage on our side of the home) because they were pulling down the outside wall on the other side of the duplex. The workers were polite but if we had known we would be listening to banging and hammering each day, we would have booked elsewhere. I feel like that was a HUGE oversight and was really uncalled for.
