About this cottage rental
Come and play at this 3 bedroom, 1 ½ bath cottage on beautiful McCrossen Lake. McCrossen is a 31 acre clear no-wake lake, great for swimming, fishing and relaxing on the water. You have use of two kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a paddle boat and the swimming raft is right off of the dock. Boat rentals are available on the Chain o'Lakes. Or contact us to rent our pontoon &/or Maui Mat
This 1930’s vintage cottage is full of charm. The full screened-in porch is perfect for morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful sunrise or just hanging out. This 1300 sq foot cottage sleeps 8-10 . The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed; the first upstairs bedroom has one queen bed and a set of twin beds; the second upstairs bedroom has 2 queen beds with a half bath (plus washer & dryer). Eat inside the cottage or in the screened porch. Relax on the newly installed dock, swim out to the swim dock, or take a nap in the screened porch. A great summer vacation spot.

We are within walking distance of the Wheelhouse restaurant and Scoopers ice cream and 2-5 miles from cute eateries, shopping, grocery stores and fast food. Boat rentals are available on the Chain of Lakes
$1925 per week during the season Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day weekend (Friday 4:00 pm check-in to Friday 10:00 am check-out)
$500 refundable security/damage deposit (will be refunded within 7 days of vacancy if no damage is incurred)
7 day reservations only "in season" after Memorial Day through Labor Day- rental period is from Fridays @ 4:00- Friday pm @ 10:00 am
3 day (minimum) reservations available during "off-season" from April 15 - Memorial Day and Aug 31- October 31
No rentals after Oct 31 through May 10

My kids and I had a perfect vacation at The Cumley’s Cottage. Judi and Gary were so great to work with. Their cottage had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the fire pit, the floating dock, the new spacious dock, the cozy interior and the porch was AMAZING! We can’t wait to go back!

I wish I could keep this hidden gem a secret, but we've already told many family and friends how great this place is. Our family had a wonderful time at this cottage. Everything was first-class and professional, from the communication to the check-in to the cleanliness of the cabin. The location is absolutely perfect - close enough to town for a quick grocery run, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We spent 90% of our time on the screen porch enjoying the view of the lake. We're definitely returning!

This was my first VRBO stay. I chose this particular rental because of the previos reviews. We needed 3 bedrooms and the 1-1/2 bath was a bonus when all 5 adults were getting ready for a wedding.
The rental exceeded our expectations, everyone enjoyed their stay! Clean, spacious and beautiful view!
