About this cottage rental
The Capes at Augustine Cove is a peaceful oceanfront retreat overlooking the warm waters of The Northumberland Strait with the Confederation Bridge in the distance. There are unobstructed panoramic ocean views from every window and the cottage contains all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay including a washer, dryer and dishwasher.
The cottage is a short drive to Cavendish Beach as well as some of the best golf courses in North America which include The Links at Crowbush Cove, Brudenell, Mill River and Green Gables. A short drive will also take you to the beautiful town of Victoria By The Sea which has many activities that everyone will enjoy including antiques, arts and crafts, as well as many outdoor activities including kayaking and biking. Victoria by the sea offers some of the islands best restaurants all within a 7 minute drive.
There has been an addition of a large 2 tier deck in front and at the side of the cottage which includes a hammock. The large space can accommodate lots of seating for day or evening family get togethers. There is a 8 person patio set, reclining loungers and Adirondack deck chairs available for use on the deck.
The Capital city of Charlottetown is 35 minutes away and the city of Summerside is 20 minutes away. Both have many activities for the family to enjoy. The minimum night stay is 7 days and the rental starts Saturday and ends on the following Saturday (some exceptions apply depending on time of year and availability)

We were looking for a quiet, oceanfront, pet friendly accommodation and the Capes at Augustine Cove met and exceeded our expectations. The cottage was well furnished, clean, and well stocked with everything you could imagine and then some. Clearly our hosts love the Capes property and it shows. The location was central to our excursions around the island. We often found ourselves wanting to stay at the cottage instead of getting in the car, as we were happy to walk the ever changing beach front as the tides came and went. We are really hoping to get back to this oceanfront oasis next year!

This was our second stay at The Capes at Augustine Cove and it was perfect. Extremely clean, beautiful view and with the direct access onto the amazing beach there’s no need to go out anywhere if you don’t want to. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our 10th anniversary and our kiddos loved it as well! Thanks so much!

Loved our relaxing week at this cottage on the south shore of PEI. I went with my wife, 20 month old, and golden retriever. I have to give this cottage a 5 star review. The best thing about it is the view and location. The deck has unobstructed ocean views, and there are steps to access the beautiful beach from your deck. The beach is relatively private shared only among a few cottages. It felt like an oasis. The cottage is a cottage. It is nicely decorated, had supplies nicely stocked like keurig, etc. There is no air conditioning or wifi, but you can cool off in the water and being disconnected is nice. Hosts responded quickly to questions when they arose. Would stay here again.
