Pierview Oceanfront Condo’s, formerly Bodie Island Resort, Unit 205 is a beachfront condominium at milepost 17 in South Nags Head, NC. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo offers stunning ocean views, a full-size kitchen, private balcony, and more! It’s a non-smoking, no-pets unit. Renovated for the 2015/2016 season, it’s perfect for a family getaway with the beach just steps from your door. Both bedrooms have private baths, with the master featuring a Jacuzzi tub. The unit sleeps six, including a sleeper sofa, and you can bring an air mattress for extra guests. The master bedroom has sliding doors to an oversized balcony with ocean views, plus a TV, cable, and DVD player. The second bedroom also has a TV/DVD. Towels and linens are provided, but bring your own beach towels. The living room features cozy décor, a decorative fireplace, large flat-screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD, and a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. There’s a wet bar with sink and wine cooler, a dining area with a rustic pine table for six, and a well-stocked kitchen with electric stove and dishwasher. A sliding glass door opens to the balcony for relaxing, reading, or watching the sunrise. A washer and dryer are included. Outside, enjoy two pools (one for kids), a playground, charcoal grills, picnic area, basketball half-court, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, plenty of parking, and an elevator. There’s also an outdoor shower for convenience. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and start your mornings on the deck with the sound of the ocean.
Note: The over 30-year-old elevator finally died and had to be replaced this spring. We are glad to report the new elevator is working! A luggage lift has also been installed to assist with moving luggage and other items to the second floor.

My first time in OBX and discovered there's not much to do within walking distance. We had to drive out to the main strip for everything. That must be an OBX thing, most ocean vacation towns everything is close by. As far as the actual property, The elevator was supposed to be fixed by spring according to the listing. We stayed June 15-19. Elevator although being worked on, was not fixed. Not the hosts fault. There was luggage lifts at least. The condo was nice. The only issues I had was the remotes were a bit wonky, the master bathtub wasn't as clean as I would've liked and there was a giant stain on the carpet in the main living area. Not the hosts fault, but the cleaners need to clean better. They gave us a roll of paper towels, TP and dish soap but no sponge. Thought that was a little odd. The glass slider in the bedroom was really hard to open, the one in the living room not as hard. Not sure if it's just from age but it was kind of a pain when going in and out. Ended up leaving an entire day early due to cruddy weather but not anything the host did. The property was chill, the people were nice and the location to the ocean can't be beat. The appliances were new compared to previous photos. The BBQ grills on property were all broken but one. Not the hosts fault again. The management of the complex should be doing their part bc it makes the hosts look bad. I would totally rent again if I was to return to OBX again.

The property met our expectations with no issues. We were happy with the beachfront location. The property is not new, but the remodel checks all the boxes. It was clean, comfortable and the laid back atmosphere we were hoping for. The location is beyond excellent and anything you would possibly want are minutes away. We will definitely bisit this property again in the future.

We enjoyed our weekend. The condo has a beautiful oceanfront view. It was clean and beds were comfortable. The elevator did not work . That was very disappointing as that is an ammenity we needed. I wish I had been told prior to our stay. I did find out the 2nd day that there was a lift to use for luggage to use when we checked out. Overall it is a nice place and I would stay there again, if the elevator gets fixed.
