Enjoy your own private summer mountaintop in the Berkshires - Two story, completely renovated air conditioned home on spacious, private wooded setting steps from hiking/biking trails, across from Jiminy Peak. Short drive to Williamstown, Tanglewood, Stephentown, New Lebanon, and Lenox. Brand new master bedroom/bath suite, renovated private bedroom on second floor with Queen bed, and custom made four bunk room sleeps four more.... Two complete renovated baths with Showers in both. Easily can accomadate 8-10. Kitchen renovated, all appliances you need, brand new mudroom/laundry, and large airy deck perfect for watching the sun set over the Berkshires. The House is in perfect shape, setting is not to be missed. Additional pictures available on request. Pets - dogs upon request (inquire), but sorry no cats!

Our second stay was longer and even better than the first! We loved having the house as a base for exploring the Berkshires in all their fall glory....highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the local sights and returning to a cozy, comfortable hideaway in the woods :)

The property is high on a hill. It’s quiet and great for star gazing..The house is well equipped, has all the conveniences needed that made our stay easy. While the house seems remote, it is actually an easy drive to the local towns. We love it there.

We absolutely loved our stay and the location of the house, it's just far enough away from it all yet close enough to access everything we wanted to do. Also hosted mom's 89th family birthday celebration at the house, a beautiful afternoon on the deck was had by all. Sleeping accommodations are great, especially the super comfy king bed in master suite, and two grown-up girls loved being kids again in the upper bunks :). A few gloomy weather days were manageable with a cozy fire going, there's just no substitute for a real fieldstone fireplace! Owners Ned and Dorsey were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had via phone or text. Would recommend a not-too-low vehicle to access the uphill dirt road, but it was relatively smooth compared to some of the local paved roads, yikes. Favorite activities were hiking to the "Snow Hole" off Route 2, biking the Ashiwillticook Rail Trail, day trip to Manchester, Vermont, and especially the family time there with our favorite people. We definitely recommend "Winterberry Hill" as a relaxing getaway for couples or families and hope to return next year!

The house is situated on top of a steep road. Beautiful and quiet. Night skies are gorgeous. The house has a great porch for relaxing and enjoying the quiet. Inside the house is well laid out and convenient. It’s not too far from Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow and other summer only cultural activities.
