About this apartment rental
The Highland Awaysis is our condo at the center of Lower Highland (LoHi). The Awaysis provides an excellent live/work environment, steps from the most exciting neighborhoods in Denver. There are more than 50 restaurants within five blocks of the Snug. The Snug has a walk score of 90.
Located on Upper 15th Street, the Awaysis is a short walk or ride to Union Station, the 16th Street Mall bus, light rail, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Mile High Stadium, and downtown Denver. The Awaysis is at street level, so has easily accessed from and to 15th Street.
The lower level (about 1200 sq. ft.) is a lock-off suite with a large living room, master bedroom, full bathroom and kitchen. The living room has a sunroof ceiling that keeps it bright and comfortable. A Murphy bed in the kitchen provides a second sleeping area that can be separated from the living room by a sliding wall. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a desk and private door into the bathroom.
The upper level contains another loc-off suite, about 600 sq ft, and a second living room with a half bath. The washer/dryer are located off of that living room.
Includes Xfinity cable TV and high-speed Internet. There is a flat screen TV and surround sound system in living room.
Three off-street parking spaces are included in a secure lot, with additional spaces available from the HOA at $150 per month. So close to everything that a car is not needed. There are scooters and bikes everywhere that make short trips around the neighborhood easy.
30-day minimum rental.
Available furnished, or unfurnished with a lease for 12 months or more.

First the location can not be beat. You are a 30 min or less walk away from anywhere in the city. All sports arenas, food, drinks everything. The are was clean and communication was top notch. Had everything you would need for extended stays. Cant wait to come back!

My husband, me and my 2 kids (9,5) stayed here for a long weekend in Denver. We had never been to Denver before so I was a little nervous about where to stay, but I am soooooo glad we chose Highland Snug. I'll start with the actual unit. The parking is gated, which was great, even though I never once felt nervous in this area. The unit was spotlessly clean. The king size bed and pillows were super comfy and my kids LOVED the murphy bed. All the furniture was really comfortable and the space was huge! There was a nice glass room divider which gave privacy if you were staying with 2 couples instead of a family of 4. There were 2 nice looking bikes available to use with helmets. The owners also thought to provide plenty of towels (normally you just get the bare minimum in rentals), and they provided some toiletries like bath and hand soap and toilet paper and paper towels.
Next, the owners....They have the right balance of being available without getting in your space. They checked in a week or so before the trip to make sure we had the info we needed. They gave really good instructions on how to get there. They had a nice book with recommendations for where to eat and how to get around. The first night, they checked in by text to make sure we were comfortable and when we checked out, they sent us well wishes by text.
Great, clean unit, nice owners and the PERFECT location. It was very walkable, had tons of cool restaurants nearby, and the best ice cream I've ever had (Salted Oreo from Little Man Ice Cream...you're welcome). You could catch the FREE 16th street mall bus in a short 10-15 minute walk and it would stop every block all the way up to a block or so from the State Capitol. We were just a couple hours from Rocky Mountain National Park, so we went there too. There were tons of shopping and restaurants on the 16th Street mall. I would have no problem walking around the LoHi area at night with my kids...that's how safe I felt here.
Next time I am in Denver, I really hope this unit is available!!!!! Thanks for a great stay, William and Pat!!!!
