About this house rental

This home is located in a quiet private mountain community at approximately 2,800 ft. elevation. The road to the home is paved, with the last 1/10th gravel, so all wheel drive is suggested. As roads in the mountains are not engineered to go straight up the road does meander with grade between 4% to 15%. We share this as not everyone is familiar with driving in the mountains.

Stunning, bright, true log home located on 16 acres in a private community at 2,800 ft. elevation: 12.5 miles south east of downtown Asheville, 4.5 miles to gas and groceries, 11 miles to the gates at Biltmore Estate, 13.5 miles to Omni Grove Park Inn, 14 miles to UNC Asheville, 13.5 miles to Warren Wilson College, 19 miles to Black Mountain, 9 miles to Asheville Regional Airport, 69 miles to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, 110 miles to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

The pictures in the listing do not give justice to the actual home. It is a beautiful home. We had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of necessities stocked- soap, paper products, towels, detergent, plus a few surprises!

Clean, lots of usable space, high end furnishings and plenty of supplies. We loved the location. It's close to Ashville, Hendersonville and Black Mountain. It's located in a small development on a hill in the woods. Great views. It is secluded and very secure. We had no trouble with the road, just go slow and pay attention.

My wife and I stayed at East View along our duaghter and both of our parents during our son's eedding weekend there. The home was plenty spacious with multiple wonderful outdoor seating areas to hang out and connect, and plenty of ammenities for comfort. The home was immaculately kept and owner's provided special touches that we don't often see with other rentals. Nested in the hills, beautiful winding roads lead to the secluded site, whixh we treated like our own if only for 4 days! Definitely recommend.
