The Hot Tub was perfect, loved having the TV to viewThe cabin over all was clean - the outdoor firepit area was fantasticThe scenery was awesome. Hot tub couldn’t be used, as it had too much chlorine and eyes were burning. Campfire was nice, but there were so many tiny bugs all over the chairs that you couldn’t sit down. Internet wasn’t strong and signal strength was sketchy. My granddaughter loved the cat walk above living area. The location was ideal and close to just about everything. Loved the big wraparound porch and hammock. Poor lighting in bathroom and shower areas. Did not use basement beds as it seemed pretty chilly there. Overall, it met our needs and the stay was comfortable.

We all enjoyed staying at Fox Fire. Was nice and enjoyable to just sit outside around the campfire and enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would recommend to anyone one looking to get away from everything and just enjoy being with the family. Cabin was spacious and very nice.

The place was nice and the location is really good for what we wanted to do! Lots of room and accessible to a lot of different options. The downer was the jacuzzi and the pool table, 2 things we wanted to take advantage of while there. The jacuzzi is old and the jets only worked 1 of the 4 seats. The pool sticks were all old and had no tips so you couldn’t even hit the balls. Bummer!

We went to enjoy each other's company - and that we got to do. We were slightly disappointed in a few things though. the shower in the Master Bedroom (upstairs) did not close all the way and there was a piece of trim that was coming down near the sink. The couch in the upstairs loft area was so worn that you could see the white material that is underneath the leather. The hot tub control panel was blank (all of the writing had worn off) and there are no covers over the areas at the bottom of the tub where the water is pulled through - two individuals in our party had their heels sucked up in to the tube. We were able to pull their heels out without injury but scary all the same. And lastly, the TV out by the hot tub did not work correctly. When we first turned it on there was a section of lines that ran vertically and did not show the picture. After about 5 minutes it went away and we didn't worry about it - until we were watching the final game of the world series and not only did the lines come back but it froze and you couldn't watch anything. I know this may seem like a lot of complaining - but over all it was a wonderful weekend and we are truly grateful to have been able to go. Everyone in our group works in the non profit world in our community and that can often times be very stressfull - this was a great way for us all to relax and refocus - thank you!

The cabin was perfect. It was so clean I thought it was newly built. It had everything we needed. The location gives you the in the woods with nature feel. It was amazing! Arrive during daylight because the darkness made it a little difficult to find on our arrival. We loved the place. The jacuzzi tv needs to be replaced.

We had a group of 3 moms and 6 kids, plenty of room for everyone!! 10 minutes to old man's cave, highly recommend! We had a great time at cabin, playing games, hot tub, watching movies! Memories were definitely made! One thing I recommend if you are cooking your meals, bring some Tupperware, the house didn't have any. But the kitchen was stocked with everything else! Couches and beds were very comfortable!

We had a wonderful time at Foxfire cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It rained so we had fun playing pool. All the furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Everyone had a great time, highly recommend!!

we really enjoyed this cabin. Everything was clean, and comfortable. I had read previous reviews that the couch was rundown. but they must have just gotten a brand new one, which was nice to see. very cozy on the comfortable leather couch by the fireplace. Also the location could not be better. five mins away from grocery stores, very close to awesome trails, and still feels secluded enough. thanks for the hospitality

Bathrooms were very nice except for that. The top shelf of dishwasher is broken and with limited dinnerware frequent running of the dishwasher is required. Notifed management but it was not replaced during our stay. When hot tub wouldn't work after a power surge, texted maintenance @ 9:30 am. Had to call management company six hours later to finally get it fixed.The rent here was premium without premium amenities.Sharon Uhl

This property is very centrally located. Hiking trails were about 20 minutes away and we were also close to other activities and local shopping. The property was exactly what we were expecting and the amenities were really great to enjoy. We were able to have multiple campfires and enjoyed the hot tub. We had a group of 14 girls that stayed in the cabin and it was such a great experience! The place was perfect for our needs, was very well kept (with the exception of the couch which we were warned about in advance), had everything needed for the kitchen and really nice bathrooms and additional amenities. I would say that the cabin states it fits 14, however if all 14 are adults be prepared to sleep on couches. It was also a little warm at times and we were unable to locate the thermostat. The house was kind of hard to find when going up the hill and the check-in stuff did not come until the day before when I had already printed all of the things needed a week in advance, but that is a personal preference. Would for sure stay at this place again as it was close to town but still far enough out that it felt like we were in the hills. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time on our short vacation at the cabin. It was a great getaway for our kids and a couple friends. We enjoyed soaks in the hot tub, the pool table, and the campfire. There are lots of hiking trails for adults as well as kids extremely close. The cabin area has a lake with a paddle board and sand volleyball that we did not get to use due to time, but looked fun as we watched others enjoy as we passed. We would recommend this cabin for anyone! Thanks for the great vacation!!

Overall this is a nice property with plenty of space and amenities for the family. I don’t think it’s a bad choice for the Hocking Hills area. There were some minor maintenance things that we wish we didn't have to be concerned with. It seems like they get lots of guests going through every week and don’t inspect the property regularly to ensure everything is in working order. Also, we weren’t able to easily get in touch with the property owner. Net it’s ok to book but don’t expect perfection.
