Patricia's property is immaculate, spacious and boasts stunning sunsets from the balcony. The kitchen was well appointed with staples and plenty of cookware. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was lovely but two of the shower heads had 'directional issues' and sprayed every which way but down, so we were only able to use one shower. Like many folks renting their properties on VRBO this one sits in a resort community that requires additional fees for golf, beach access, pickleball, tennis, etc. but this is an optional additional cost for guests and we didn't need it. We still had access to a pool and fitness center and quite frankly Hapuna Beach is a mile down the road and is free to the public. Overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed all the activities this area has to offer. Thank you Patricia, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had four adults and one very active toddler and this spot was just perfect. The views were amazing, the house nicely outfitted for conking and the onsite pool and workout room made it easy to enjoy a break during naptime! Lots of grassy areas for our grandson to run around. Patricia was very responsive and we hope to come back!

My family and I (three kids ages 19, 16, and 11) stayed here for 8 nights from 12/24/24 - 1/1/25. First, I’ll talk about the owner. Outstanding communicator since booked reservation. Very detailed directions, suggestions, information. Also, appreciate how she handled issue in condo w water heater the day we arrived (had new water heater installed by day after Christmas so while it was a minor inconvenience, she handled it gracefully and also gave us a gift card to the Mauna Kea for the inconvenience). In terms of the condo, perfect for our family…lots of space, outstanding views, upgrades throughout, and in a quiet neighborhood. The condo is within the grounds of the Mauna Kea resort and we purchased the amenity package at 180 per day so had access to beach/pool/gym etc at both the Mauna Kea hotel and the Westin Hapuna. My only criticism (and it’s more of an awareness) is that you will need to drive to the Mauna Kea and Westin each day to use the beach/pool. While it was a small hassle, we got used to it quickly and it only took about 5 mins. There is a pool and gym right by the condo as well. One other thing I’ll mention is that food on Big Island is ridiculously expensive but that’s not related to the condo just pointing it out in general. Having the condo helps w keeping food costs down by using local grocery stores and the great kitchen.Would definitely go back and stay here because of the unit itself and the great communication from the owner
