About this cabin rental
Our family’s 1951 log cabin has everything you need for your very private, unplugged Northwoods getaway....
At the end of the road, the cabin is perched on a hill on 8 acres of forest above 500 feet of shoreline along pristine, sand-bottom Franklin Lake. It has a private dock with wonderful swimming area, a canoe for your use, a campfire pit surrounded by chairs and a Weber charcoal grill. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a full kitchen with appliances (including coffee maker, grinder & microwave), 2 bedrooms (one with a queen and the other with a twin bunk bed), and a living room with twin beds on either side of the fieldstone fireplace. The single bathroom has a shower stall.
Listen to the loons & get away from it all! Or enjoy all the attractions of nearby Eagle River & Three Lakes.

Location was awesome. it could use some thinning out of trees and underbrush so you can see the lake more from the cabin. Could also use a handrail for the steep path down to the lake. Also, it needs wi-fi. Despite these issues though it is a wonderful, scenic, secluded spot.

We had a wonderful stay. Weather was great, colors were changing. Very relaxing weekend. Great place to get away from it all. Having a private dock to watch the sunrise/sunsets and star gaze was amazing. Took the canoe out on the lake and checked out the Island. The host was responsive and attentive. Made great recommendations on what do do with our time in the area. Hope to come back someday soon!

The cabin was perfect for my husband and me and had everything we needed. We loved that it is such a private and quiet location. The 2 lakes and all the nearby trails gave us plenty to do. We can’t wait to come back again for another wonderful week of fun and relaxation.

This was our second time staying at this secluded cabin. It is the perfect place to unplug and relax! We will definitely be back!
