This newer vacation condo is part of the Compass Pointe Club in Wells, Maine (45 Post Road, unit #16; east side of Route 1), just steps from the Ogunquit town line. You are only minutes from all of Maine's southern coast activities. Make your family memories here!
So that all of our guests have an enjoyable stay, we have a property manager on call, as well as Compass Pointe's site manager.
This condo is located in one of the duplex buildings, providing ample space and comfort. The condo features hardwood floors throughout. A beautiful eat-in kitchen, with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances is fully equipped for your cooking needs - just bring the lobster!
Relax in the sunroom appointed with nautical décor. The full-size, pullout coach sleeps two. Enjoy cable television, watch a movie on the Blu-ray, play a board game, work a puzzle -or simply spend time with a good book. The sunroom leads to the deck (the condo is on the third level-top floor) which overlooks the fabulous Compass Pointe swimming pool.
Two comfortable bedrooms will complete your stay. We recently replaced the mattresses and box springs. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other full size; each bedroom features cable television, dressers for storage and large closets. The full bathroom is complete with a shower and tub, granite counter-top and plenty of storage. The additional one-half bath makes mornings much less stressful.
Yes, we have WI-FI, air conditioning and a grill. The condo unit comes with two designated parking spots (one exterior adjacent to the building; the second is in the garage).
Enjoy the amenities of Compass Pointe Club:
The clubhouse features a fitness room and large gathering room. Ping pong and the large screen TV will occupy the kids on rainy days. When the beaches are crowded and the ocean water is chilly, the temperature of the pool is just right. There is a shallow end for the little ones. (The pool is open Memorial Day weekend through mid-September and is heated!). A short trail on the Compass Pointe property leads to a kayak launch onto the Ogunquit River.
Enjoy the sites: we are less than one mile (walk, drive or trolley) to Footbridge Beach (Ogunquit) and Moody Beach (Moody/Wells) and a few minutes drive to Ogunquit Beach and Wells Beach. Enjoy mini-golf? We're a half mile away from Wonder Mountain featuring mini-golf, go-carts and an arcade.
The Trolley, which travels north to Wells, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport and south to Ogunquit, York and Kittery, stops right across the street.
Avid bikers? Bring your bikes and store in the private garage.
There are several restaurants and seafood shacks within walking distance on Route One. We're a four minute drive to the lively Village of Ogunquit and eight minutes from Perkins Cove. Many enjoy the summer walk to the village shops and restaurants.
Compass Pointe Club is the perfect location for your southern Maine stay. Whether bargain shopping at the outlets in Kittery, lighthouse spotting along the coast or exploring the Old Port in Portland, CPC is a short drive to your destination.

This is our second summer staying here. The owner and property manager have great communication, the property is very clean, and perfect for our family of four. The heated pool is perfect to come back to after the beach and my kids loved the ping pong table. We will be back again next year.

Very nice place my kids really enjoyed the pool. The nearby beaches were also big hits. Both footbridge beach and the public part of moody beach were really nice. They were close enough to take a walk to but too far for my kids to walk while carrying beach stuff so we drove and paid to park by the hour.The pullout couch worked well for my kid and was easy to put back in each morning. Beds were comfy. Communication was good- I was able to request sheets and towels to be provided in advance and they were.

We’re so happy to have found this vacation home! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of all the must-see attractions. We were truly impressed by how clean and well-kept the condo was, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches and supplies provided. It made our stay even more enjoyable!The pool was perfect for my two year old twins. Hope to return to Maine in the future and will definitely return to this condo.

We've stayed in many vacation rentals from Boston (right before this) to Florida, Europe, Oregon and many places in between. While generally speaking the property is fine, the details are a bit lacking/subpar. It's hard to get a great review from us when all three of the beds were bad. They weren't average, they were bad. My wife and I had a bed that creaked and groaned something terrible. And it was soft in a cheap way. The same could be said for the 2nd bedroom. And then the pullout was either badly worn or also cheap. The same could be said for other areas of the rental - we were given sheets, pillow cases, and hand towels, but none of them were put on/hung. There was no bar soap. And in the fitness room, no weight over 10 lbs. There's also a deck but no furniture is allowed. The kitchen is new, the layout fine, it's just not a very memorable place.
