Hillside Rest was a nice unit. It was clean and nicely decorated. There were issues with the air conditioning. We could not get the unit below 75 degrees. The bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen was more than adequate. The view from the room was minimal but you could defintely see the lake. It's a short walk to the lake shore. The parking situation is not ideal. The keypad for the garage door is incredibly difficult to operate, it is extremely easy to press the wrong key. Also it was not clear at all in the description that there is no other on-site parking. If you have two cars with this unit one will have to park off-site in a public parking space. That was not clear at all in the description and when you look at the property online it appears there is plenty of parking surrounding the building. That parking though is all for the hotel next door. The unit was very quiet. I never heard neighbors on either side or above.

Everything was great and very comfortable and quiet. Very clean and a nice view of the lake. Parking was very accessible and if you were bringing young children they had all the equipment you would need. They were well stocked on all the necessities and more. 😃

The location was amazing and parking garage was so nice. The air conditioner didn’t work well and the place was super hot in the afternoons. The cleaning people didn’t do a great job after last guests and that was the biggest complaint. Loved having washer and dryer and being so close to the water!
