The host is an elderly couple renting out rooms in their house. Both are very welcoming and friendly, but non-english speaking. Communication works fine by pointing and easy wording or the usage of technology and Japanese of course. Some areas are shared with them. Everything was clean and well maintained. There is a local bus running which stops right in front of the house and connects you easily with other parts of the city if you don't want to walk. The room was as described and had good space with a sofa, table and little chair to sit on. The bed was very comfortable and the area is very quiet. Iis is perfectly fine for a short stay.
