Villa Margarita

The property was amazing overall. Beautifully located on the course. There was a bridge behind our location which allowed the children to get close up to the water.

The villa location was good. Bahia as a whole is an excellent place to stay. Host Duqueila is the reason I give this villa a 7, otherwise, it would have been a 4. She was constantly in touch and accomodating.

The owner needs to update the bed mattresses. The ones in the bunk beds are a joke. It is kind of deceiving saying the villa accomodates 8 adults. Kitchen hardware needs to be updated, knives were dull and dented. We were allowed in the villa almost 2 hours late, yet, we were asked to leave on time the day of our departure.

From a gorgeous paradise-like property, to a fully equipped Villa, to a golf cart to easily move around, to the complimentary spa steam/sauna sessions, to the whole family swimming in all three gorgeous pools, to the restaurant staff giving a little plush turtle to our 3 year old, to the mojitos and piña coladas at the pool, to the service at the beach... if we ever come back to la Isla del Encanto, this place would be at the very top of our list.

Definitely not the property's fault but our own (New Yorkers who don't drive much) that we expected moving in and out of the location would be easily accessible via uber/taxi. We were a big party but had no luck getting a same day service to come pick us up to get us anywhere (Old San Juan, supermarket, airport). So either book ahead or get one of the airport taxi drivers to offer to drive you back. Or, as we probably should have done, rent a car!

The room was clean

Location was remote with very little access to much Tania was very unresponsive Poor customer service
