This beautifullly appointed Mountain home is a work of art that is fully functionable with its rustic contemporary charm. The home features a grand fireplace, hot tub, fully equiped custom kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 with amazing mountian views perfect for viewing the Northern lights or star gazing) and 2 bathrooms. The wooded lot adds privacy without obstructing the amazing views. This home will make you vacation or weekend in Girdwood, AK a pleasant and memorable vacation or get-away.

The host was very communicative and the place had a lot of the little things that make things easier (shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, etc). The sleeping arrangements worked out well and were as described.

The property with its rough wood was a real dust trap and requires a deep clean.
There are missing bulbs in fixtures that were easily accessible from top bunk and there are disconnected and missing smoke detectors. A few of the rugs were worn and no longer stable on the floors at entry doors; not safe for children nor seniors. Missing cabinet knobs are just a nuisance.
It’s a lovely place, very unique and charming, I am being honest because I feel the owner should be aware of the properties condition in order to make the unit safe for the residents.
It’s a pet peeve, I know but for Alaska summer, it really needs blackout window treatments.
