About this house rental
Beautiful Southwestern style home with wooden corbels and vigas in the entrance and throughout the home. A stone waterfall greets you as you drive up to the cul du sac. Not your normal vacation rental. All high-end unique furnishings throughout and many amenities for your vacation/corporate/retreat/research/wedding/Family Reunion enjoyment. Complete with a beautiful bar fully stocked with all size glasses, shakers, wine opener, and marble top and cutting boards. Not 1 but 2 special Cal King bedrooms with pillow top mattresses; master bedroom has 40 inch HDTV with cable TV. Master bath has separate huge tiled and glass shower room enough for 2; separate deep jetted spa tub, huge walk in closet, and private room for the loo.
Other King Cal bedroom has beautiful bedroom that has French doors that open to the patio, giving it a 'private' feel, Bedroom has unique furniture, built in lighting on both headboard and bureau. Cedar or felt lined drawers and push button hiding nooks built into the furniture to hide precious items away from view. Other beautiful bedroom has pillow top Queen Bed with private full bath complete with lovely skylights in the Kokopeli motif. Unique 4th bedroom with Pulaski bunk bed (2 twin beds) and full-size twin mattresses, complete with 40 inch HDTV & cable TV; high speed wireless internet and desk to keep younger (or older) visitors content. Queen sleeper sofa in the living room should you require additional sleeping accommodations. For the little guest a top-of-the-line Graco portable crib/stroller/bassinet complete with sheets and blankets. Crib has electric rocking motion, and soothing audio sounds to help the little one fall off to sleep. Additional twin fold out beds are also available to accommodate a larger occupancy. Lovely, gated yard and gated in-ground heated pool (heating requires additional fee), Hot Springs Jacuzzi with room for 6. Lovely southwestern style tiled patio with dining table that accommodates 8. Outside lounge set that seat 5, bar with 4 high top chairs, propane gas Brickman barbeque with smoker (2 tanks provided). Lighted Pool with water fountain, lounge chairs, bistro set, large umbrellas, side tables, and large lavish pool towels and not to mention a gorgeous view of the Organ Mountains from the pool. Should you prefer relaxing inside, sit comfortably in the Great Room in front of the huge entertainment center watching the 55-inch HDTV with cable TV. Or, use the PlayStation 3 and the video games located in the entertainment center, or watch a DVD movie left for your enjoyment. Turn on the Sony stereo and listen to some of your favorite CD's or attach your Mp3. Relax in the living room on the S shaped lounger reading a good book or having a relaxing nap before your afternoon round of golf at the golf club across the street. Enjoy relaxing moments drinking coffee or sipping tea from the high-top table in the living room with the beautiful view of the Organ mountain range. If it is time for family fun, choose from the many board games provided in the entertainment center, playing them on the dining room table that comfortably seats ten. Or try and beat your opponent using the gaming table with seating for two players that has ping pong, billiards, air hockey and more. My home can easily accommodate any type of group or just a couple looking for an enjoyable relaxing vacation. Researchers, company retreats, military personnel, NASA testers, writers, family reunions, visitors of friends in the immediate area, wedding parties, NM State University collaborators, and holiday family gatherings are just a small sample of those that have enjoyed staying there. Larger than normal rental home with about 3700 Sq ft. one of the larger, if not the largest rental home listed in Las Cruces with a gated in ground heated pool and Jacuzzi. The pool was great, we had some issues with the hot tub however the property manager stated they will get them address. Overall, the entire stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time at the house.

Beautiful home, that easily accommodated my entire family of adults. I had a few questions and requests; management responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils. Swimming pool was beautiful and clean. The house was in pristine condition. In my opinion, for the accommodations, the cost is very reasonable. I highly recommend this VRBO, if I am ever able to get my family to Las Cruces again, I hope to be able to stay here.

The Good: This place is really nice in the pictures and in overall appearance. We enjoyed the pool and the large living spaces with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The furnishings are nice and the home is well stocked. The property manager is very attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The bad: Unfortunately, the internet is slow (2-4mb), and the owner locks up the thermostats so that you have zero control over the climate. The property manager was kind enough to change the settings for us remotely but the bedrooms are very warm while the living spaces stayed extremely cold. The master bed was nice but most of the other beds were not very comfortable. Our teens opted to sleep on the couches. The Ugly: The worst part of our experience was arriving to a dirty house. The housekeepers forgot to clean the place before our arrival so we had to wait for them to make the beds, remove the trash, clean the bathrooms, etc before we could settle in for the evening. The manager again was very responsive and had them come back to clean but it definitely started our trip off on the wrong footing. Overall, I'd say this place just needs a little more TLC from the owner, upgrade the internet, free up the thermostats, and invest in a few good mattresses and we would have given it a much higher rating. We don't appreciate not being trusted to control our own climate - that was a HUGE aggravation.
