About this cabin rental
We look forward to providing you with a renewed sense of rest and relaxation by being able to offer a reasonably priced and wonderful getaway at our Moclips Beach Cabin just steps away from the ocean beach. Bring your favorite book to read and snuggle by a cozy fire in our wood stove. Or bring a blanket down to the beach to watch the sun set. We do offer books to read and to take home with you.
Relax in our large comfortable cabin. We are able to accommodate a small group or a large crowd with a second kitchen upstairs. We offer a fully equipped kitchen downstairs with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, a large living room with a wood-stove (bring your wood or buy it at the local store).
For Razor Clam Digs, you will need to bring your own clam guns or shovels along with your clamming license then enjoy fresh clam chowder with your own clams! Clean your clams with our portable clam table (located in the garage) and hook it up to the garden hose to avoid getting sand in the kitchen sink!
The cabin is located on a large double lot available for outdoor games or backyard campfire and yummy s'mores! The Moclips Cabin has two small bedrooms down stairs (one with a double bed and the second with a single bed.) The bathroom downstairs has a grab bar for safe access into the tub. Nice flat screen TV in the living room. The cabin has wifi access and basic cable. The Surf House espresso cafe in Pacific Beach has free wifi and great cinnamon rolls. You can get great cell service (for most carriers) while walking on the beach. Cell service is available in the cabin depending on your provider. Ocean Storms my temporarily affect local internet service.
The upstairs offers a spacious great room with a new queen size Beautyrest Firm Mattress. A fun Kids-room is available in a separate room with two single beds. The upstairs is complete with a kitchen and bathroom. Nice small deck upstairs with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. Lots of great books for reading are available. Get ready to just kick back and relax. Beach chairs and towels available.
The cabin has a 2-night minimum (3 nights during holiday periods). Exceptions made be made during non-holiday periods. This is a pet-friendly cabin with a dog bed and separate dog bowls available. (Since we are a pet-friendly residence, individuals with extra sensitivities may elect to choose a pet-free VRBO to rent.
Firewood is not provided for your VRBO stay so please remember to pick up your wood for an outdoor campfire or a cozy fire in the wood stove.
A non-refundable cleaning fee of $75 and a 11.8% tax will apply

We enjoyed our stay. It was our 3rd time staying at the cabin and we always feel comfortable and cozy there. We love Moclips and love that the cabin has plenty of room for our family of 6.

There are so many cool things about this property: location-2 blocks from public beach acces path, the decks and views from the house are peaceful, the kitchen is well stocked with necessities and many extras, the bonus room upstairs is really cool for kids, the upstairs has a fully separate living area, including a kitchen.
Another thing is this property is VERY dog friendly. This is great for people traveling with dogs and who don't mind all things dog, including the very pungent odor of dog, dog hair everywhere, including all over furniture and the smell
on blankets and beds. I can imagine it would be wonderful for some people, and I anticipated a bit of dog friendly elements, but this took it to the next level for me. I was not comfortable in the setting due to smell and the hair. Like I said I may start asking how dog friendly a place is when it's listed, just to be clear. For what it's worth.
