About this house rental
Quiet and tranquil, yet just a two block walk to Carmel's famous shops and restaurants and eight blocks to the Beach! This home is situated among the towering trees of Carmel and upon entering it you will be surrounded by its charm.
Our home was built in the 20's with hardwood floors and many lovely antiques. There is a front flower garden with patios on both sides for either sun or shade.
Upon entering you will find a well- stocked kitchen with a large comfortable dining room. There is a lovely window seat that looks out onto the front patio and garden. A perfect place to sit and have coffee and read the morning paper.
Enter the great room where there is plenty of space for the whole family to sit together watch TV and enjoy the roaring fire in the Carmel stone fireplace.
On this level there is one large bedroom and bathroom (queen bed), with doors leading out to the front patio and garden. The backyard has a gas barbecue, table and chairs for 6 and outside seating. We allow dogs so the yard is completely fenced.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with king bed and charming window seat, with a full bath with two sinks. There is also a loft with a twin bed for additional sleeping.
The ADU has a King bedroom and ensuite bath with soaking tub and shower overhead.
Come visit Carmel and our charming home-- There is something magical here--once you're here, you'll never want to leave!

This warm and relaxed home was perfect for our Carmel stay. We felt at home the instant we walked in. The home is spacious and casual with beautiful natural lighting. The host was easy to work with and accommodating. The courtyard garden was charming and beautiful with ample out door seating and a towering redwood distinguishes the front yard. The kitchen was well appointed. And we loved a fire in the fireplace at night.
The location was perfect, convenient for exploring downtown and for walks to the beach.
We enjoyed a magical month in Carmel and look forward to returning to Serendipity.

Very close to town which made it us able to walk down every day. Good communication with owner. Quiet street, Dog friendly. Beds comfortable. Made for a great vacation.
