This luxury Kauai vacation rental is set on the coveted greenbelt in the center of Poipu Kai and overlooks Shipwreck Beach. Hale Maluhia at Poipu Kai blends indoor and outdoor elements into a unique island life experience with custom made furniture, local art and beautiful landscaping. Enclosed inside grand lava rock walls, this “House of Peace” offers three bedrooms, a private swimming pool, intimate courtyard with garden. Slightly elevated, the open architecture receives the trade winds and captures the sounds of the waves breaking nearby.
PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.
The Parrish Collection is a locally owned and based real estate management company that specializes in vacation rentals on Kauai and Maui. Our collections of rentals are professionally managed by in-house staff with a commitment to personalized service, fine attention to detail and a true sense of Aloha. This house was very comfortable and clean. It was very easy to find and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was very close and so is shopping and dining. The hot water is an issue though. We like hot showers and the water only guests hot in 1 bathroom. It only gets luke warm in the other 2 showers after you run the water in the kitchen for at least 10 minutes. It's a hassle, but I understand how on demand hot water works. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars.

The location of this home can't be beat. The beach is close enough to walk and you get a small ocean view. The home itself is beautiful. Our only complaints was that the pool is not heated and was virtually unusable while we were there because the weather was not great or warm enough to justify swimming in a cold pool. Also, there is very little hot water in the house itself, making showers and washing in the sinks very unpleasant. Could also use a little maintenance/upgrades on small things like pans etc. Overall good.

Lovely home with everything you need. Coolers, chairs, boogie boards for the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. We will be back.
