Located in Quathiaski Cove, on Quadra Island, BC, nestled amid sheltering trees, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Discovery Passage and its abundant wildlife. Watch whales and eagles over morning coffee, try your luck salmon fishing in the afternoon, and cuddle up with a good book and a glass of wine as the sun sets. Perfect for a couples’ getaway or a solo-retreat, our Quadra Island vacation rental is set on three quiet and private acres within walking distance to shops, world class recreation, and the Campbell River ferry.
For guests looking to get away from it all and get back to basics, this is the spot for you. Loon Point Cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, and one bathroom. The living room, dining area and kitchen all look out over Discovery Passage, Grouse Island, and the Campbell River shoreline. There is a small patio out front and a trail leading down to a private 61 foot dock--a one-of-a-kind experience on Quadra Island.
Loon Point Cottage is rustic but clean and comfortable. All linens are provided along with a selection of toiletries and some basic kitchen staples, such as spices and oils. There's a full kitchen and a cozy living room. From October through April, you can cuddle up next to a wood-burning stove, from May through September, you can enjoy plenty of sunlight and abundant greenery. All year round you will be dazzled by the work of art right outside your door and the ocean's ever-changing moods.
