Penthouse Ski-In Ski-Out Above Sheraton 1bd 1.5ba

Loved the location . Comfortable bed . 2 disappointments during our stay is not a washer in dryer in the unit and the size of the unit . Misleading named a penthouse .

Terrific location, 1 minute walk to ski base/lift, hotel amenities, kitchen and good view.

This was a perfect place to stay for our three days of skiing. The Sheraton property is super convenient, located at the base of the slopes for ski in / ski out. Access to the owner’s locker made it even more convenient. The Sheraton offers some great amenities as well. And the bus stop is just outside. The unit itself is super cozy and well appointed. It had everything we needed. It’s also very clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Steamboat.

When we booked this unit it clearly stated in the description that it was a two bedroom. After we booked and paid for it. The owner called and gave a description of the unit over the phone at that time reveling that it was a 1 bedroom and not a two bedroom but told me it would sleep 5. And described the bed situation. When we arrived we were disappointed by the advertising of this unit. It is not a two bedroom and it is not what we would consider a penthouse. We made the unit work for 4 adults and a child but it was tight. There was a pull out in the living room and a extra roll away that we set up but setting the roll away up took up the kitchen space. We were disappointed that what we thought we were getting and paid for was not at all what we expected. It was so tight for 5 people that we spent more time in the lobby just to have a place to stretch out and relax. I felt that this unit is falsely advertised and the description is not what you are getting. The advertising of this unit needs to be rewritten so that people know exactly what they are booking.
