About this house rental
Moose Run - This cozy mountain home is perfect for groups or families. Situated on an acre of land, the house has a large yard with mature landscaping. With 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, two families can be accommodated or a large group. Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ - fun for the entire group. A convenient location -- between Teton Village and the Town of Jackson. Near the bike path, minutes to local restaurants, coffee shop and grocery store.
Upstairs has three bedrooms and one full bathroom. Bedroom One has a king bed, bedroom two has a queen bed, bedroom three has one extra-long twin with trundle bed. On the main level, is the living room (with Smart TV/cable), kitchen and dining room. Kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances. It is fully equipped with all corded appliances, cooking utensils, pots/pans, baking pans. Dinner and glassware for 10+ people. Dining room table has two leaves with seating for up to 10 people. The back deck has outdoor seating and dining table. On the lower level there is a den / playroom with a TV, cable, and room for a queen blow-up mattress. Bedroom four is located on the lower level with a queen bed and full bathroom. Large capacity washer and dryer is located on the lower level as well.
There is plenty of outdoor parking. We are located at the end of a cul de sac, so it's very safe for children and there is plenty of space to play with the large mowed yard. We see a lot of wildlife, in particular, moose. If you keep your distance they are fun to watch and completely harmless. We also have fox, deer and owls. The garage and shed will not be accessible.
Teton Village is a 5-minute drive and the Town of Jackson is a 15-minute drive. There is a bus stop at the nearby Calico Restaurant which is a 10 minute walk from the house. Grand Teton National Park is 15 minutes from the house. Calico and Sidewinders Restaurants are the closest restaurant for dinner, 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. Otherwise there are plenty of restaurants in either Teton Village or the Town of Jackson. Persephone Coffee Shop, Aspen's Market, Teton Pines Golf Course, Teton Sports Club Gym are minutes away by car or a 10 minute walk. The Town of Wilson is a 5-minute drive, there is Pearl Street Bagels (Coffee Shop), Wilson Backcountry Sports (Bike Shop), Nora's Restaurant (famous for their breakfast) and Hungry Jacks (a classic, local market).
Well-behaved dogs considered. Rates non-negotiable.

We really felt right at home with this property. The owners were wonderfully responsive. Its location in a sleepy neighborhood at the end of a gravel drive just outside of Wilson was a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle (and traffic!) of Jackson, yet still within easy reach of several great local restaurants, groceries, Teton Village, the Laurence Rockefeller Preserve and Grand Tetons National Park.
We especially appreciated having two separate common areas, each with a huge TV, which allowed multiple activities to be going at the same time. The office space in the downstairs den was a bonus surprise, giving us a dedicated space for laptop(s) and a printer.
The house was spotlessly clean (plus, our contract also included weekly cleanings) and furnished with a tasteful mix of modern and craftsman-era furnishings. There was plenty of parking and a great deck for watching the wildlife, solar eclipse and stars!
