Our home is the only 2-bedroom, 2-bath Windsong rental, thoughtfully designed for one or two couples who want privacy, comfort, and a peaceful North Shore retreat — without the size and cost of the larger 3-bedroom units.
With a bedroom and private bath on each floor, couples enjoy their own space while sharing an unforgettable Lake Superior experience.
Lake Superior’s North Shore has no end of beautiful places to be surrounded by nature. Fresh air and sunshine are good for body, mind, and spirit. Come up north — it will do you good.

This is our privately owned vacation home, not a corporate rental. When we're not there, it is our pleasure to share it with fellow North Shore lovers. Every piece of furniture and art was hand selected to provide a beautiful and comfortable home to return to after a day of exploring.
A dramatic two-story wall of windows facing Lake Superior lets you enjoy the sights and sounds of this incredible body of water — mesmerizing in every season.
Our home is perfect for one or two couples, with two bedrooms — one on each floor — each with a connected bath for privacy and quiet.
Our amazing view and ideal location sometimes attract inquiries from travelers with a 5th or 6th person. Rather than turn them away, we provide twin air mattresses so we can accommodate up to six guests, though two couples tend to find the layout most comfortable.

The nationally recognized Gitchi-Gami State Trail crosses Windsong Drive on the way to Windsong, making it easy to access one of the North Shore’s best paved biking and walking trails. Ranked No. 3 Best Recreational Trail in the 2026 USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, the trail currently offers a scenic route from the Beaver Bay area toward Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and Gooseberry Falls State Park — two of the North Shore’s most iconic destinations.
Spring, summer and fall bring endless ways to explore the North Shore. Hike miles of breathtaking trails along the Superior Hiking Trail, chase waterfalls at Gooseberry Falls and Tettegouche, bike the scenic Gitchi-Gami State Trail, or search the beaches for Lake Superior agates. The property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, but I think what stood out the most was the helpful attention and responsiveness of Jo, the host.

Great place in a great location with good views, though they are somewhat obstructed by trees. Unfortunately, we encountered some issues that impacted our overall experience. The neighboring property is occupied by a gentleman who approached us within 10 minutes of our arrival to complain about noise, despite it being well within reasonable levels. Throughout our stay, he appeared in unexpected ways (such as from his balcony), which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.Another issue was with the grill. We specifically chose this property because it offered grilling, but upon arrival, the propane tank was empty. While the host was helpful in providing information on where we might find a replacement, she also mentioned that grilling was discouraged due to a bear sighting in the neighborhood. This was disappointing, as grilling was a key part of our plans. The next day, the host did provide a full propane tank, but by then, the experience had been soured a bit.Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property, but with some reservations as mentioned above.
