Authentic Adirondack Charm, Comfort & Family Memories
Come experience the Adirondacks the way they’re meant to be enjoyed — in a comfortable, welcoming family home with true rustic Adirondack charm.
This is not a brass-and-glass, modern hotel-style getaway. It’s a home with character, warmth, and the relaxed feeling of a place where you can truly settle in, kick back, and enjoy time together. Our goal is to preserve the charm of the original Cape-style home while providing the comforts families want during their Adirondack vacation.
The home has recently received a deep cleaning and numerous updates, including fresh paint, new linens and curtains. There is updated flooring on the main level, ground level and second level decks, and the second floor allows for total privacy with each bedroom boasting its own private full bath.
Comfort for Everyone
Each bedroom features its own private bathroom, vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans, individual wall heaters so everyone can choose their own comfort level, and sliding glass doors leading directly to a second-level deck with beautiful views overlooking the Hudson River.

Screened porches
Washer and dryer
Dishwasher
Wi-Fi

Large yard for outdoor games and family activities
Fire pit for relaxing around a nightly campfire
Dog-friendly accommodations with prior approval
The second floor brings fresh, updated bedrooms and bathrooms while still maintaining the home's original Adirondack personality. The bedrooms feature comfortable room-sized rugs, helping preserve the home's classic character while keeping it inviting and practical until new flooring is decided on and installed.
A Family Home in the Adirondacks
This property has been a work in progress, with renovations continuing as we improve and update the home while staying true to its original charm.
Most importantly, we want to keep this home comfortable, authentic, and reasonably priced for families who want to enjoy everything the Adirondacks have to offer without spending a fortune on accommodations.
You won’t find a cookie-cutter hotel experience here — and that’s exactly the point.
This is a place where you can make breakfast together, let the kids enjoy the yard, gather around the fire pit at night, open the doors to the deck and take in the Hudson River views, and simply enjoy being together.

Very clean, close to mountain! Kitchen: didn't need anything that wasn't there. Host was easy to communicate with and the house for as big as it is was easy to pack up. Would definitely recommend.

4th year we’ve stayed at this home.Wonderful time with family and friends.Loads of laughs and the firepit out back each night was our ritual.

What made this property excellent was its location, management, and the fact each bedroom had its own bathroom.

We found the kitchen and main dining area had not been cleaned and some beds not made. Toilets had also not been cleaned. The bedrooms and bathrooms in general were quite comfortable.
We did discover the owner does not live in the area and was unaware of the conditions. He was grateful for the information and wants to make it right. He did return some of the cleaning fee since things were not as he had assumed.
Once we dealt with the issues that we could correct, the remainder of our stay was fine. Great location, a bathroom and exterior deck off each bedroom, plenty of sitting area downstairs and a spacious kitchen. Lots of parking.
It was a good base from which we conveniently paddled several lakes in the area.
