Splendid hillside situation with far-reaching views over the countryside, excellent large large (and deep) pool, with visits from spectating donkeys a plus. Imaginative use of space, especially the bathroom extension, good quality fittings and equipment throughout. The air conditioning for the bedroom was a godsend in the heatwave conditions. Very comfortable space for two, and an ideal location for visiting our favourite towns and sites in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys, including walking into Beynac.

Some warning about the narrow, twisty, steep and in places very badly damaged road to the property would have been helpful! Really quite difficult to negotiate in a relatively low-slung car. The wooden decking around the pool was loose in places, with some boards and screw heads sticking up. Not a problem if you look where you're going but potentially an accident waiting to happen. We never did find the tennis court advertised but it was too hot to play anyway.

Loved the location. Beautiful view. The house was comfortable.

Le ménage aurait pu être plus approfondi sous les lits de la chambre sous comble , une casserole n’était pas propre, les poêles et casseroles devraient être remplacées car l’anti adhésif est fatigué.

The house is nice and pretty well furnished, the pool is outstanding with wonderful views and the terrace with table and bbq is excellent.

The host was completely impersonal - did not respond to messages and promised a daily cleaning service which was done only once in the entire week. The host did not bother to set up the cot for our baby before arrival and the house smelt like it had not been aired for a while and there were cobwebs.
