The location was lovely and very quiet, and the apartment had the feel of a traditional local home, which made the stay interesting and gave it a bit more character. The kitchen was spacious and had all the cookware and equipment we needed to prepare proper meals, and the shower and other facilities were perfectly adequate. The host was also very nice and friendly, although there was a little bit of a language barrier at times when trying to explain things. If the apartment had actually had the advertised air conditioning, it would have been close to perfect for us.

The main issue was the lack of air conditioning. We had checked the listing several times before booking and were under the clear impression that this apartment had air conditioning, as it was advertised both in the description and again in the facilities section under “Miscellaneous”. It appears that another apartment offered by the same property may have air conditioning, but the apartment we stayed in did not, which made the listing particularly confusing and misleading. There were fans provided, but with temperatures over 30°C they were mostly just blowing hot air around and did very little to cool the apartment. It became extremely uncomfortable, especially at night, and the heat also made the kitchen almost impossible to use, as cooking in those temperatures was unbearable despite the kitchen itself being spacious and well equipped. If it had genuinely had the advertised air conditioning, our experience would have been completely different.
