Coorumbene 8 Scenic Way

We really liked the location - close to the beach, not far from the shops, and having great sea views, both from the house and annexe, and particularly from the expansive decks (with outside table and plenty of chairs, plus umbrellas etc). The house is well equipped and comfortable, with generous living spaces, well suited to a family. The kitchen in particular was very well set up. We were 2 couples, each with a small dog, and we were happy our pets could join us.

There was really nowhere to hang towels, coats, hats, etc and dotting some hooks around the place would be a good idea. Shelves/hooks/rails for clothes in the bedrooms where there are no wardrobes (like the somewhat spartan annexe and one tiny double bedroom) would be useful. Our preference would be for a keysafe at the property, rather than having to collect the keys from the local agents in Normanville, though this wasn’t a problem.

We loved the view, the open plan living and the boathouse! The house was warm and cosy. It was close to the beach and we had some wonderful family walks along the coast. A lovely place to spend precious time with our family. Thank you.

Although we didn't need to use all of the bunk beds, a couple of the mattresses felt very uncomfortable and the springs were poking through! The other beds felt comfortable which is very important when you're staying in accommodation so I'd recommend replacing these matresses! Perhaps a couple of logs of firewood just to get started would be a bonus.

Table not big enough for the number of guests to sit at to eat together . missing items like a vegetable peeler and standard spoons for soup etc only 4 . Parents retreat spa much older than photos show and no hooks anywhere in bathrooms to hang things on .

Was't clean, bed covers were not tidy. Not enough facilities, it did not have towel, Door lock did not work and to unlock the door had to call real state to come and help, and she said it happens every time. Photos were much better the real place, we were disappointed when we went.
