Unwind at the foot of Mt. Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado, in this modern log home. A perfect place to set up your remote office (with high-speed Wi-Fi), or unplug and connect with friends and outdoor activities. This large cabin is built with sweeping views and has a wrap-around deck, a great room, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen.

Located above the town of Twin Lakes with mountain and lake views, on secluded sunny acreage. Close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing trails, with fishing, boating, paddle boarding, and kayaking on the lake. Within short driving distance to ski areas (Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Monarch), rafting in Buena Vista, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, and many horseback riding outfitters. A 40-minute drive to Aspen in the Summer months where you can explore galleries and restaurants.

Take an unforgettable hike around the lake to discover Interlaken, one of the most popular resorts in the 1890s. Interlaken's Dexter cabin is open to the public and offers the chance to explore life at the turn of the century.

This spacious and modern log home is a wonderful oasis for families, book clubs, athletes, trainers, or small groups. The first floor has a large, open great room with a large table, well suited for entertaining with a fully equipped kitchen and adjacent laundry room. A rainy weekend but perfect for our crew to hangout, play board games, and pamper the grandkids! The cabin is a wonderful, quiet escape with plenty of warmth and character.

We loved this beautiful cabin! It had plenty of space and was well stocked with all the little things you don’t think about until you need them: salt, pepper, all the cooking utensils, etc. The front porch is a great spot to sit and enjoy your coffee with a view each morning. It’s a short walk into Twin Lakes but still feels like you’re far away from civilization. Our kids enjoyed the views from the birds nest - such a cool feature! We definitely hope to come back in the future.

The views from the deck are incredible - you can see the lake and Mt Elbert. You can walk from the house across the main road to the lake waking path entrance in just a few minutes. The house is very private - you aren’t that far from town (you can see it from the driveway) but there are no immediate neighboring houses from the main views so it feels very private. By far my favorite experience was taking the short 15-20 min drive to Independence Pass. Truly most beautiful place on earth. We had two families with kids staying for a long weekend and the huge kitchen table was great for our spaghetti night and playing games with the kids. Plenty of beds and rooms so with 8 people we were very comfortable. I’d definitely come back with more family or friends.

This mountain cabin was exactly what we needed after an especially difficult 2020! The location was perfect, with beautiful hikes and photographic scenery all around. The cabin itself is so nice, cozy and clean! It literally has anything and everything you could possibly need during your stay. They truly thought of everything! It was just like being at home...with little personal touches and a deep personal connection with the Twin Lakes area and history, which made it feel extra special. I can’t say enough about the wrap around porches, the outdoor seating areas, the amazing fire pit, and outdoor swing. The views throughout the cabin from each room are amazing. Also the wood stove made the whole living area feel so warm and cozy, and the wood and fire starting material are very well stocked and plentiful! We bought groceries in Leadville before check in and never had to leave the town of Twin Lakes during our stay, except for a snowmobiling excursion in the area. The hike to Interlaken was so beautiful, as was our hike toward the pass, with some beautiful views all along the way. It is also a beautiful drive up with many scenic stopping points. It was truly a relaxing, yet adventurous stay! Stress free without crowds or traffic in the area. Just perfect! Brian and Lisa were perfect hosts and were great communicators, so quick to answer questions, and so accommodating to help us arrange staying an extra night! We would most definitely return again any time of the year! A little slice of heaven on earth!
