Surfside on Lake Superior

Amazing views. The staff was fantastic. It’s was very clean and I was extremely happy with our stay.

Water pressure. And we had issues with trying to watch prime video thru the Blu-ray. It didn’t work. You might want to upgrade your tvs.

Didnt know how to checkin, never got email. Went to bluefin bay after saw note on door at surfside

The townhouses were beautiful and the location is great.

Staff on site were not always available. There was a leak on the pipes so the upstairs shower couldn’t be used without it leaking from the ceiling Into the main bedroom. We needed more garbage bags and never received them after calling twice. The master bed was hard as rock. The restaurant on site was not open due to staffing issues.

Good location

The 19A unit was dirty. Floors were dirty, flies in the unit, cupboards didnt close all the way, the water/ice maker on outside of fridge kept leaking on the floor. Carpets are dirty with stains on furniture and furniture is banged up and tired. Muddy footprints as soon as we opened the door. Would’ve asked to be moved but all units were full. Had to ask for a spatula which was dropped off later. Michelle at the front desk is not friendly…patronizing, short, and acts as though you are wasting her time. Overheard her tell a family that there wasn’t breakfast that morning even though it’s advertised as serving breakfast. She was extremely rude to this family. She needs some customer service training!! So disappointed in this stay. Will likely not return or recommend. So expensive for what you get. I’d actually like some compensation for the dirty unit.
