Both children and adults will enjoy outdoor activities in the expansive back yard, surrounded by crops in the field and cows in the pasture. In the winter try cross-country skiing or snowshoeing through the fields and woods.

Diana, the host was truly amazing! She met us at the property and we were able to checked in a little earlier. She gave us a tour of the place and a bit of the history. I could have talked hours about the history with her. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that you needed for cooking and then some. The rental was immaculately clean and so cozy. It had such family history and had that old farmhouse charm. If those walls could talk they would tell you some amazing family storys over the years with her famiiy history. We all love history and antiques, it felt like home. Front porch was so peaceful sitting out there with coffee in the morning, watching the cows and listening too the birds. From the kitchen window, you could see the birds at the bird feeder and a hummingbird, even a squirrel. The living room was great for guests. There were three recliners, that made the boys happy after a long day at Hungry Hollow. The beds were extremely comfortable and even extra pillows. If you need a fan to sleep those where in the rooms aswell. Cumberland and Rice Lake were close for supplies. Hoping we will be abe to come back next year. I give this rental 5 stars.

Such a comfortable space! Perfect for our family weekend. There was plenty of space for our 5 adults and two children (3 yr old and 6 month old). We loved the house and look forward to renting it again!

We absolutely love this place. The hosts are super, and this farmhouse is a historical treasure that has been lovingly cared for and beautifully restored. Everything is sparkling clean, well-stocked, exacting attention to every detail. This will always be our go-to place anytime we have family/friends visiting this area.Thanks Diane!
