Avalon Motel

I normally would never rate a 2 star motel a perfect rating, but my experience at the Avalon motel comes very close! The amenities is clearly stated it did not have, it did not have. The ones it stated it had, it definitely had and they were great! My bed was more comfortable than what I've had before with much higher end hotels. The water (shower) was as hot as I wanted it and as much as I wanted. Most hotels/motels are so dark inside with really poor lighting. The lighting in my room at the Avalon was very bright and the entire room was lit up well. The temperature in the room was kept very consistent throughout the night with the AC unit. The place was very quiet and I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a while.

Virtually everything exceeded expectations! (The only issue, but not really an issue was that the tub required a rubber stopper if I wanted to take a bath. I used a washcloth to block the drain and had an amazing bath!)

Right off the main road.

The dressers were full of someone’s clothes. Big hole in the wall where the shower head came out. Hole in wall had cigarettes in it. Ps this was a none smoking room. One thin blanket. Light came in all the way around the door. Short curtains so light from outside came in. Had a old offices chair as the set was a little odd.
